Well furnished 3 bedroom modern detached bungalow. Sleeps 6 with a fantastic view. Designed for families to relax in. It’s 21st century with a timeless view. 2 very comfy large sofas. Uninterrupted view of Loch Duich from the living room window High speed broadband internet, 4k 42" TV, Sky/Netflix, Xbox, large living room, patio and garden, Alexa devices and Hue lighting t/out.&nbsp;Fully equipped kitchen, Dining table, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Adjustable panel heaters in every room. Bath and shower. Off road parking for 2 cars in private driveway. Private secluded house On the "right side of the road" so you won't be seeing cars driving past spoiling your view. South West facing so lots of lovely sun (although there's always a good chance of rain as well). Over time I'm trying to set this up as a modern house with up-to-date technology scattered around for those guests who wish to use it. The house will still function for those of us that don't know how to work it all. There's Philips Hue lighting in all the rooms ... individual dimmers or work it all from the Philips app. You can just use the manual light switches to control the lighting ... so don't worry. There are also Alexa devices in every room. These are used to control the lights, play music and loads of other things that I don't to do. (If you’re concerned by this in any way then please just switch them off at the wall. Everything will work manually) There's a&nbsp;decent Samsung TV in the living room, a Sky TV package, Netflix and Amazon Prime TV. Bose speakers to listen to music. A smaller TV in the room with single beds and no TV at all in other bedrooms .... (for those guests who just want to get away from that black rectangle for a short time.) There is also an Xbox One with a large selection of games and the usual array of board games, jigsaws and cards, books. Fully equipped kitchen ... pretty much everything you need. I leave plenty of ingredients/sauces/spices and other basics (rice,pasta, onions,etc) for your use during your stay.&nbsp;If you arrive late with nothing... you can always make something to eat.&nbsp; There's even a local shop/filling station 150 yards away ... you're going to find that very useful. The next one is 8 miles away. Comfortable beds .. 2 doubles and 2 singles. Dressing tables, mirrors and hairdryers. The living room can easily fit 6 people with plenty of room to spare. You will be able to relax here. There's a&nbsp;dining table for meals and games. Entire property and grounds at your disposal.&nbsp;Sheltered smoking area outside. Situated in the picturesque village of Inverinate. There's stunning scenery all around. The 5 Sisters of Kintail mountains are on view and so are&nbsp;the lovely shores of Loch Duich. It's very central for exploring the area. Only 10 minutes to Eilean Donan Castle and 20 minutes to the Isle of Skye. Loch Ness is less than an hour away. Tell your friends that you saw Nessie. There's stone age brochs (houses) in Glenelg. Get to Inverness or Fort William in 90 mins. And you don't have to drive for an extra hour down some country road to get to it. The house is just off the main road (we know it an the only road) and there's a filling station just 150 yards away. Fill up and start your days sightseeing. The filling station also has a good stock of food and drink. Along the A87 .... there's a Jet filling station in Inverinate about 150 yards from the property. The property is 2nd left after the filling station and then left again down a private driveway of 30 yards.

An Comaraich - "The Sanctuary"

Liked everything about this place- The location, the house, facilities and what not! Alan was the perfect host and we really loved what he has done to the place (and all by himself). The place has everything for everyone (board games, xbox, colour ambient lightings, alexa in every room! Ultra modern space with well stocked kitchen and spices for everyone! I would highly recommend this place, to top it all its nominally priced too.

Alan is a fantastic host. He is very communicative, making sure that you know how to find and access the house. He also provided a detailed explanation of all the house's amenities a few days prior to our arrival.The space itself is amazingly provisioned, with a fully equipped kitchen, incredibly well-stocked pantry, multiple entertainment options (board games, toys for kids, and an Xbox One with ~25 games), and three spacious bedrooms. The views over the loch from the living room in incredible. Alan was always in touch and responded to any of our questions incredibly quickly. Our only regret is that we could not spend more time here. Highly recommended.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

In all the time that we have stayed at Airbnbs over the past six years, never have we come across a host as anxious to anticipate the needs of his guests as Alan is. From creating a sanctuary for adults to providing technology for younger persons and play dens for kids, An Comaraich thus becomes a perfect homestay.Set in one of the most picturesque living room views I have ever seen, Alan's place provides everything one craves on a holiday - a hospitable environment, comfortable living, a connected world while being in isolation and a relaxed ease with the host. Needless to say we got it all at The Sanctuary in the heart if the Scottish highlands.Alan's place can take two couples and two small kids. I would highly recommend it to all those who seek a high quality break from their daily routine.Nilofer, who normally never writes reviews of Airbnbs, wanted to add this below :'An Comaraich' is one of those rarest of finds that delivers so much more than you expect - or than it promises. We have been staying at Airbnbs now for many years and this one is exceptional. Alan has put so much love and thoughtfulness here, that it just makes you snug and happy the moment you enter. We arrived late at night and picked up some groceries but Alan had already anticipated that. He had rice, bread, pasta, tinned food, fresh milk and vegetables lined up. The rooms are tastefully done and every room has a gorgeous view.The living room became our den as all age groups are catered to. Older adults will find nooks and books to read. The young ones will enjoy the technologically fitted lights, Alexa and Xbox. Families can play board games or watch TV. We had our nicest Airbnb experience here and would love to come back if possible. Thank you so much Alan for your warm and friendly presence and we know you are planning some more surprises. Cheers

Excellent Home

An amazing house with an even better view. High tech (which the children loved) and extremely comfortable. The kitchen supplies were the best we have ever experienced in any stay.
We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Alan has done an amazing job in anticipating the needs of his guests. From the decor to the food supplies on arrival, you cannot ask for more. Incredible lighting, TV package, comfy sofas, Xbox for the children to play, books, games. It rained one day during our visit and there was so much to keep us amused inside the house that the children didn't want to leave.
We will be back one day as it already feels like the 2nd home we'd always of. And that view from the living room window is something that we will all cherish and never forget. A once in a lifetime feeling.
And a personal note to Alan (the host). Thank you for everything you did for us during our stay. Every question was answered. Your interaction with our children was a joy to behold, they really loved you. We could tell you really cared that our visit was enjoyable. We've stayed in a few other places but never met anyone like you. Keep up the good work.
