Foxglove Cottage offers guests a NEW LEVEL of luxury when it comes to self-catering accommodation. Converted from an old stone building, every little detail has been carefully thought out to maximise guests' experience. We are not your average holiday home!

Focusing on pure relaxation, we offer guests EXCLUSIVE use of our Skargard wood-burning hot tub - sourced directly from Sweeden!
Foxglove Cottage is a one-bedroom deluxe, self-catering cottage, featuring soft, pressed sheets, (that make going to bed so much more alluring!), fluffy bath robes to lounge in after the spa and luxury toiletries from Irish brand, The Handmade Soap Company.
There really is no better way to unwind on a cold, crisp night than relaxing in your own hot tub, with a glass of something with your partner, as you enjoy the luxury of a dark West Cork night sky above , free of light pollution as you gaze at the stars and sink into the warm water.

Our big cosy couch, featuring luxury furnishings from McNutt of Donegal, is ideal for snuggling up in front of the wood-burning stove, playing board games or just watching a movie on our 42" TV.
We understand that whilst most guests will come to Foxglove Cottage to relax, unwind and switch-off, some may need to have a bit of a working holiday. Our high speed internet connection makes it ideal for streaming your favourite shows or remote working.
All guests staying with us will receive a welcome treat upon arrival, as a way to welcome you to your new luxury home away from home and for choosing to stay at Foxglove Cottage.
Foxglove Cottage is our little family business. We have put our hearts and soul into creating the most perfect romantic and relaxing getaway, for couples and for dog lovers alike - as we are a dog friendly too!

Foxglove Cottage Ballydehob

Our stay at the Foxglove Cottage was perfect and Anna is a wonderful host the helped us find the best spots to explore. The Cottage is incredibly comfortable, well appointed, excellently maintained, spotless and private. The hot tub experience made an already great stay, out of this world. Anna was super helpful and we loved the local villages and restaurants and enjoyed cooking at the cottage as well. We would certainly stay here again!

Incredible Cottage, Amazing Relaxation and Hospitality

We recently returned from a weekend getaway at Foxglove Cottage and I cannot rate it highly enough. The property was absolutely immaculate, beautifully kept, and incredibly cozy. It genuinely had everything you could possibly ask for and then some. A massive thank you to our host, Anna, who was simply incredible and made the whole experience seamless. The icing on the cake was the amazing hot tub! If you're looking for the perfect place to stay, this is it. 5/5 stars

A Perfect, Cozy Getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Foxglove Cottage. Anna and Matt have truly thought of everything — no expense has been spared in how beautifully the place has been done up. The interiors are fabulous, finished to such a high standard, and there’s a real sense of luxury throughout.
The cottage was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with every detail carefully considered. The hot tub was such a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more special.
Privacy was excellent, which made it the perfect place to properly switch off and relax. Communication was super and Anna and Matt were so kind and helpful from start to finish — we genuinely wanted for nothing. It was also such a bonus that it’s pet friendly, which made the stay even better for us being able to bring our dog who didn’t know herself in this beautiful home away from home.
Foxglove Cottage is a stunning place to stay. We are already looking forward to our next escape to this special place. Thank you Anna and Matt!

The perfect getaway

We had an amazing two night stay in Foxglove with our dog this month. From booking through to leaving it all ran seamlessly & Anna was 100% in details. The cottage itself is somewhat in the middle of no where but in a good way, it’s safe, idyllic and so much passion has gone in to making this guest house a luxury home from home. The level of cleanliness, details, extras, etc was one of the best I’ve stayed in. The interior is modern but cosy. The craftsman ship is there in abundance. Anna makes the most amazing granola and cookies along with leaving bread, milk & fresh eggs from her hens. The doggie treats bed etc was ideal for Maple. All of this fondness and we didn’t even use the Hot tub on this occasion but we will be back for sure.
