However, if you walk along the river to the right, you may find some pockets of deeper water to soak and wade through. We are all praying for some rain!)

We’ll leave you to enjoy the peace and privacy of Ashwood Aframe, but we’re always just a message away if you need anything. We’re happy to offer local tips, answer questions, or assist with anything during your stay — simply reach out via a message.

*Off-grid living*: Ashwood AFrame runs entirely on solar power, rainwater, and a septic system - but don’t worry, everything is designed for comfort, and with sustainability in mind, including backups for essential systems.
*Wi-Fi*: Starlink Wi-Fi is available, offering bandwidth stronger than city connections.
*Pets*: We welcome pets on a case-by-case basis. Please keep pets off furniture and clean up after them. We have fences fronting the river and a gate at the entry, but there are still other parts of our boundary that are not fully fenced. As we are surrounded by native wildlife, pets must be supervised at all times.
*Neighbours*: The Valley is also home to a lot of generations-deep local farmers and so we ask you pay your utmost respect to them, their animals and their property. The Valley can be quiet at night, and sounds can echo through the valley, so we ask you refrain from playing very loud music outdoors at night. Strictly no parties are allowed on the property.
*Sustainably built*: Every aspect of the cabin has been intentionally designed for comfort, quality, and sustainability in mind. We would love it if you treated the space as your own and helped us care for it, including keeping it clean before leaving, so it can be enjoyed for years to come.

Ashwood AFrame - Secluded Riverfront Luxe

One of the most undersold elements of A-Frame is the drive in and the stunning surroundings. It’s genuinely one of the most beautiful, remote and fun drives into a stay I’ve experienced, breathtaking from the moment you arrive. The house itself has all the cosiness, thoughtful design and inclusions of a luxury stay, while still giving you that feeling of being in a remote cabin completely entrenched in nature. Walk along the riverbed and take in the incredible surroundings, head into the cute country town of St Albans for lunch, or simply stay put, light the fire, relax on the deck and take in the epic mountain ridge. I’ve only stayed once, but I’ll definitely be booking again. It’s a pretty special spot.

Hidden gem, a must stay

Ann was an excellent host, answering questions efficiently and giving extra information. Her instructions were clear and detailed, making everything easy to follow.
We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young children), and felt very relaxed and comfortable during our stay! The kids loved watching the cows at sunrise and they enjoyed the huge bath tubs!
If you are looking for an off-the-grid stay, some peace and tranquility, not too far from Sydney - then this is the place to stay!

Airbnb Review - This is the place to stay!

Wow what a spot. It’s very peaceful and cannot help but slow down. Ann was incredibly easy to interact with.
From the first moment you get immersed by the angles of house and the immense grandeur of the cliffs. The peaceful ambiance. A gentle nature. Like a soak in a bath letting all your worries drift away. 😊🤫

Airbnb Review - Wow what a spot

Had a great stay here! The location was awesome and the place was really relaxing, clean and cozy. The view was beautiful, especially from the balcony, which was definitely one of our favourite parts. The amenities were great too and everything we needed was there. Would definitely stay here again!

Airbnb Review - The location was awesome

Such a beautiful place! My partner Caitlin and I unfortunately were only able to spend 12 hours here as we had an unexpected birth of our baby girl but we most certainly will be booking to go back again except with a new addition to our family.
The place is exactly as shown in the photos if not better, Ann & Andrew are very friendly and even checked in with us when my partner had just given birth.
It's beautifully located and has everything you could want for a nice family getaway to unwind and relax.Thank you again guys and we look forward to coming back in the next few months!!
