Shaw Country Cottages have been completely renovated to provide a luxurious base for your visit to Wiltshire. 
The Granary and Hayloft cottages are situated in Shaw in Wiltshire near to UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath and National Trust site Lacock Abbey. Included in your stay is exclusive access to a luxurious indoor spa suite with heated pool, sauna, steam room pre-bookable for 2 hours per day. 
Rental of two properties, The Granary and Hayloft,  to accommodate group bookings of up to 14 people. The Granary accommodates up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms with king-sized beds and 1 double bedroom, 4 ensuite bathrooms and a cloakroom. The Hayloft accommodates up to 6 guests, with 2 bedrooms with super-king sized beds, 1 double bedroom, 1 ensuite bathroom and 1 shared bathroom. 
Guests also have access to a private games room with air hockey, table football, magnetic dart board and arcade console game table.

Location
The space is located in Shaw which is a small village in Wilshire.
The village boasts excellent local restaurants, notably The Pear Tree at Whitley and Il Vello D'Oro at The Golden Fleece. As well as a fantastic Farm Shop, Lowden, which has a range of global delicacies.
A short drive from the village will take you to world heritage site Lacock (5 minutes drive), known for its magnificent abbey which is known to many as one of the filming sights for the famous Hogwarts in Harry Potter.
Guests are also a short distance from the UNESCO city of Bath (20 minutes drive) famous for its Georgian architecture, Roman thermal baths, 16th century Abbey, Royal Crescent, The Circus, and many top-class bars, restaurants, and cultural sights.
The apartment is set within a private residential development off the main Bath Road which connects to nearby major towns and cities of Chippenham, Bath, and onto the M4 for connections to London and Bristol.
There is ample free off-street parking available at the property for guests arriving by car.
Local railway stations of Melksham and Chippenham are a short distance from the apartment and offer quick connections to Bath, Bristol, London, and more.

Pool & Spa Facilities
The properties have access to a luxurious pool and spa suite featuring indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room. 
Guests can enjoy private access to the spa suite which is available between 10am-6pm. 
Included in your stay at the property is a daily 2 hour slot pre-bookable in advance.

Countryside Cottages with access to pool & spa near Bath

We had a wonderful family gathering. A particular highlight was the pool, sauna and steam room. The hosts were very welcoming from the moment we arrived and very responsive to any requests. 
We would recommend the apartments to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing break. It worked very well having two apartments, close to each other.

We had an amazing weekend with our friends (6 couples and 6 babies under 1), at Catherine’s place.
Everything was perfect as we arrived. Catherine was beyond helpful; with an early check in, logistics of having multiple babies in the location and some tricky requests for pool times, nothing was too much to ask. 
The pool &amp; spa facilities were a highlight of the trip and we got great recommendations for pubs and restaurants nearby. 
The only issue I have is that I’m trying to get my family to get together at Shaw Country cottages before the turn of the year…… it was that good.

Amazing weekend with friends

Had an amazing time, Catherine was an amazing host very friendly, welcoming and flexible. We really enjoyed our stay, the spa facilities were amazing, bbq area was also very great. Would definitely recommend.
