The Aurora-Fairbanks, AK

Awesome host--great at communication! Everything about the house was perfect and better than described. Nothing is better than watching the aurora while sipping from a cup of hot chocolate. The glass wall in the living room allows you to see the beautiful scenery and the starry night while sitting on the sofa. The rooms are clean and anything you need is provided. There are instruction notes everywhere on how to use the appliances. We were really surprised by how detailed our host is! This is definitely my best Airbnb experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Hot chocolate and the Northern Lights

Great place, beautiful location. We saw the northern lights this week and drove to the Castner Ice Cave. Great for kids. We loved it.Great winter getaway. We would stay there again for sure.Great communication with the host.Definitely rent a 4 wheel drive. Lots of snow there even in April.

Winter Getaway

Great location, comfortable and really provides an Alaska experience vs being right in Fairbanks where it’s more suburban. We were there in June so light 24 / 7 and there is a lot of glass so be ready for that. Decent dirt road for the last 4 miles once leaving the paved highway. Had bumps here and there but pretty smooth for the most part. Was peaceful and excellent for re-energizing after days exploring and hiking. Have bug spray or a mosquito control device handy if there in June.

Summer sunlight

Property is secluded and beautiful. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet location. Everything was as described in the listing.

Secluded and peaceful

Look no more this is the Fairbanks stop for you! Absolutely stunning cabin with an even more stunning view. We got the full fall views within the forest below, northern lights at night and even a surprise sunset view of Denali on our last night! Secluded and cozy. Will love to visit again.
