Berkshire House Stay: 5BR/5BA

We've stayed at a fair number of rentals and usually the number of bathrooms is an issue, but there are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms here which makes it easy for friends who don't necessarily want to share a bathroom. Most of the beds are queens but are quite comfortable. There's a lot of space and a wonderful kitchen. The neighborhood is lovely - the neighbor kids had a lemonade stand on Saturday - delightful! Communication was great and check-in/check-out just about the easiest ever. We'll be back!

We'll be back!

I‘ve rented houses in the greater Lenox/Lee area for a group of friends for a decade. We hike, bike, visit the Botanical Garden, the Mount, etc. during the day, enjoy Tanglewood and Jacob’s pillow in the evenings. The group agrees that this is the favorite of all our rentals. Each room has a bathroom, the house is very comfortable, is full of top rate appliances and had a beautiful front porch that seated all of us. It’s minutes away from all the things we enjoy doing. I very much hope it will be available during our 2027 visit!

This is our Favorite

Mary was an exceptional host and provided useful information leading up to the stay such as pointing out the location of the driveway whose entrance was on a different street than the address. Note: The five or so steps between the driveway and entrance of the house are very tall so anyone under 5’5” has to really concentrate on climbing or descending those steps. It wasn’t a huge issue for our group, but this could be difficult for others. There were so many nice touches and clear information throughout the house. The pre-stamped postcards to send out for referrals with money off both the referred stay and referrer’s next stay is a stroke of marketing genius. It was fun writing and sending postcards to family & friends. There were so many locations to hang out making it an ideal property for a multi-family gathering. All the beds that our group slept on were comfortable and each room had variety of pillows. The place was clean with an excellent location and on my book again list.

Exceptional

Great house for a larger group. We had 4 couples and this house was perfect for our stay. Very clean, comfortable, great kitchen, nice porch. Easy access to Tanglewood and other area attractions. Terrific stay.

Terrific Stay

Our group just loved our stay at this home. While there is a lovely backyard our group tended to congregate on the front porch. Our trip was for two Tanglewood performances and it was a very easy drive. We are well aware of the good restaurants in Lee and appreciated that the house was a walkable distance. The kitchen was very well stocked. The living room was a very comfortable place to catch World Cup games. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. A nice place to spend our 4 day getaway
