Another wonderful week in Best of Both Worlds!
We always look at the other cottages and homes and think how lucky we are to have this rental with a clear view to the gorgeous scene in the back of the house and the huge deck in the front for gathering, reading, having coffee, watching the ocean! For a very busy active area and street, we think this house is a little slice of heaven!!! The owners are very attentive and accommodating.

Perfect Week

Our family highly recommends the Best of Both Worlds in Wells, Maine! We found BBWs during Covid times and have been returning each summer since. We love the location to the beach, the MANY amenities this house offers, and the ease of enjoying this house despite the weather. With full, covered decks on every level of the house we are able to savor morning coffee at sunrise on the front deck and sip cocktails with the sunset on the back deck. This house offers sleeping accommodations on each of three floors; perfect for myself and two sisters. We are able to vacation with each other and our various aged children easily. Wells, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport are quick drives and super fun to explore with quaint shops, delicious restaurants, and several nature trails. Staying at this home requires nothing more than bringing your own bed sheets and personal supplies as EVERYTHING ELSE, from bath and beach towels, blankets, full kitchen supplies, beach chairs and umbrellas, and plenty of off street parking. Owners, Anne and Aaron Nichols, are wonderful to work with and are available for questions or comments quickly and reliably. The Best of Both Worlds has become My Happy Place and easily one of the best places I've ever stayed.

Great place to stay, very clean and has everything you need for a great time

This is our fourth year at the house and cannot say enough about how awesome it is! From all of the amenities like air conditioning, provided towels, provided beach, chairs, and toys to pots and pans there is nothing they don’t take care of. You basically have to pack yourself and linens for the beds. The decks on the front and back of this house are amazing and the close proximity to the beach is unparalleled. We’ll be back next year!
