**PLEASE NOTE: DURING THE MONTHS OF JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST, THIS PROPERTY IS ON A 6 NIGHT MINIMUM**
On the west side of the island, this house is one street removed from the water views of Lakeshore Rd. The property also backs up to the Quarry. Blue Heron Hideaway offers a modern, multilevel house with plenty of room for entertaining friends and family. On the main floor, the kitchen is part of an open-concept dining room & living area with vaulted 21 ft wood ceilings! It is also the perfect place for outdoor entertaining with its large decks, both in the front and the back. The large deck on the front of the house faces Lake Erie and an equally large deck in the back faces the fire pit, a private wooded area, and the Quarry.
For days when the weather prevents outside exploration and fun, the family room features a home theater. The large lower-level lounge in the basement features a wet bar, shuffleboard table, pool table, a large screen TV and a walkout covered patio. If you simply cannot leave work behind, the home is equipped with wireless internet service and a workstation in the upstairs loft. There are five bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. Both bedrooms on the first floor (main level) have doors leading to the back deck, where you can enjoy family meals, have a bonfire, morning coffee, or even a late-night drink. For the fisherman, our property has a side yard you can easily up to 3 boat trailers on!

Blue Heron Hideaway

We had a great stay at Angel’s Blue Herron Hideaway. The location was private, yet easy access to all the island has to offer. The house was clean and comfortable with many different living areas inside and outside to hang out in either separately or together with friends/family. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. There were so many thoughtful amenities such as the fire pit, s’mores sticks, bikes and board games. The lower level was the most fun hang out for kids and adults alike with a pool table, shuffle board, darts, arcade games and bar! We made great memories here and would definitely come back!

October 2024 - Airbnb

We loved our stay at Blue Heron Hideaway. The amenities were awesome (took advantage of the bikes a few times and loved the game room downstairs) and unbeknownst to us, we were on KI during Islandfest. We enjoyed the parade and downtown activities. We stayed at Blue Heron once before with two other couples and knew it was a great place. We would definitely stay here again!

August 2024 - Direct Book

Everything was fantastic & we've stayed here many times. So relaxing, fun time & had everything we needed. I would give Blue Heron Hideaway a 5 outof 5 Star rating as a host. Thank you. Nancy

Angel's Blue Heron Hideaway on Kelley's Island was great. It was exactly like the pictures. There were 11 of us in all. Wife and I and our 2 grown children and their families. Enough room for the 5 grandchildren to sleep upstairs and they loved the game room on the bottom floor. It was peaceful and handy to downtown and the beaches. Use of the bicycles was nice. It made for a wonderful vacation. We had absolutely no problems at all. From the directions, check-in, week at the house to the checkout list everything went perfect.

July 2024 - Airbnb

This house was even better than expected. We came to the island for a short vacation/ fishing trip and this was a great location and the accommodations were better than we could have hoped for. Angel allowed us to check in early which made getting settled in quicker and easier and allowed us more time to enjoy the island. Thanks again and we hope to return sometime.
