The destination is also popular for its water sports and other sporting activities. The beaches of Pen-Hat and Veyrac'h are particularly popular with surfing and board sports enthusiasts, while other beaches on the peninsula (Corréjou beach, to name but one) are ideal for swimming. Camaret-sur-Mer also has an interesting cultural heritage, with the Battle of the Atlantic Memorial Museum, the Rocamadour cinema and its organised events, and the historic site of the ruins of the Poul-Roux manor house. Exceptionnel
