Originally a land grant from the King of England in the early 1600s, King's Landing overlooks a private harbor that once served as a landing for passenger steamships. Just 18 miles by water from Camden Harbor, home of one of the world's largest fleet of historic wooden schooners, you may be treated to the sight of these magnificent sailing vessels passing by, reminiscent of days gone by. Guests also have the use of three private association waterfront areas - an ocean dock, an ocean bathing beach, and a lake beach on adjacent Walker Pond, all a short drive away. The nearby Lookout Rock nature preserve has a moderately easy&nbsp;walking trail, which gives some spectacular views of Eggemoggin Reach, Penobscot Bay, and the Camden Hills. About an hour's drive to Acadia National Park.&nbsp;King's Landing sits on top of a steep granite bank and, because of this, there is no access for swimming, kayaking, or walking along the shoreline.&nbsp;Reliable Fidium Fiber Wifi.&nbsp; Dogs cannot be accommodated due to owner's allergies.&nbsp;</p>

KING'S LANDING - ON BEAUTIFUL EGGEMOGGIN REACH

We loved our week at this house. We swam in the ocean everyday and enjoyed walker pond and lookout rock all right nearby. Our toddler also enjoyed playing in the yard at the Oakland house. A great place to spend the day, or have as a starting off point to explore Deer isle, Brooksville, Brooklin, etc. Hosts were incredibly friendly and proactive. We would certainly love to come again.

This was the first leg of our first trip to Maine. The home was especially comfortable. The deck was sooooo perfect! we enjoyed just relaxing for hours each day. Loved the fog, the sunshine, the shade, the scenary. we couldn't have asked for anything more!!

There are outstanding views and we enjoyed finding sea glass, starfish, and hermit crabs. The house is well stocked, which is handy due to not having. a grocery store right down the road. The view is incredible and very memorable. It is a beautiful, secluded area.

We had a wonderful stay in Brooksville! The house was comfortable and in a beautiful location. We loved exploring the scenic Maine coastline, charming nearby towns, and peaceful ocean views. The property was the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that this special area has to offer. We’d stay here again and recommend it to others!
