Originally a land grant from the King of England in the early 1600s, King's Landing overlooks a private harbor that once served as a landing for passenger steamships. Just 18 miles by water from Camden Harbor, home of one of the world's largest fleet of historic wooden schooners, you may be treated to the sight of these magnificent sailing vessels passing by, reminiscent of days gone by. Guests also have the use of three private association waterfront areas - an ocean dock, an ocean bathing beach, and a lake beach on adjacent Walker Pond, all a short drive away. The nearby Lookout Rock nature preserve has a moderately easy&nbsp;walking trail, which gives some spectacular views of Eggemoggin Reach, Penobscot Bay, and the Camden Hills. About an hour's drive to Acadia National Park.&nbsp;King's Landing sits on top of a steep granite bank and, because of this, there is no access for swimming, kayaking, or walking along the shoreline.&nbsp;Reliable Fidium Fiber Wifi.&nbsp; Dogs cannot be accommodated due to owner's allergies.&nbsp;</p>

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The deck with the beautiful ocean view was definitely our favorite part, and the beach was only a short walk away.The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. We really appreciated the helpful local recommendations, welcome note, and little touches like local coffee.Our week here was absolutely perfect. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place!

My family with young kids (ages 10, 8, and 5) had a magical week at King’s Landing. The views were stunning, the cabin was clean and well-stocked, and we loved the location next to Oakland House. We enjoyed both “Swim Beach” and Walker Pond, hiking up the “blue dot trail” (Lookout Point), and meals at local restaurants like TinderHearth. This spot in Maine is perfect if you want a peaceful vacation tucked away in the pine trees! We hope to be back.

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay. The property is perfectly located--the views from the deck were amazing. It's private yet close enough to nearby restaurants and stores. Great communicators and easy to deal with. No hesitation recommending to other travelers.

Perfect spot for a peaceful family vacation!

We loved our week at this house. We swam in the ocean everyday and enjoyed walker pond and lookout rock all right nearby. Our toddler also enjoyed playing in the yard at the Oakland house. A great place to spend the day, or have as a starting off point to explore Deer isle, Brooksville, Brooklin, etc. Hosts were incredibly friendly and proactive. We would certainly love to come again.
