Ever dreamed of sleeping in the very room where a Brontë once stayed? Of walking in their footsteps?

Embrace this unique chance to stay in the very room in which all six Brontë children once resided. Blending period charm with modern comfort, it features an ornate four-poster bed, sash windows and a private en-suite.

Located in historic Thornton on the edge of stunning countryside, with beautiful walks, vibrant culture and a thriving food scene just steps away.

Charlotte's Room: Brontë Birthplace

Wow what an amazing stay! I stayed in Charlottes room and it was absolutely beautiful thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend it. Anna was an amazing host gave me a private tour and even offered to give me a lift up to the pub where the local pubs were closed on a Tuesday. Beautiful and easy walk back too. Absolutely love it will cherish the memory forever!

Charlotte's Room

I'm not sure any review can do The Brontë Birthplace justice. If, like me, you love the Brontës you will understand the significance of actually staying in the home they lived in as children. The whole place has been restored to accurately reflect how it would have looked at the time the family lived there. To visit it is already amazing but to have a key to the house and come and go as well as sleeping there was just surreal. On arrival we met Anna who was so helpful with storage for our bikes and who gave us a tour of the building, she is so knowledgeable and passionate about the house and not just the era of the Brontë's but the history of all of the past residents and of Thornton itself. We stayed in Charlotte's room and it was spacious and comfortable with an ensuite. Thornton is a nice enough village but not touristy so be prepared to do a little research if you want to go out for meals etc.
