Completely Renovated Historic Craftsman Bungalow located within walking distance to downtown Burlington and close to Elon University. This is a family-friendly and stylish house that becomes your home away from home. You will feel right at home from the moment of your arrival. During your stay, you will especially love that you can walk or ride bicycles around the historic district and downtown. The covered Front Porch enhances that morning cup of coffee or tea, and evening glass of wine. We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance.
Here are a few highlights:
  - We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
  - We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by EPA, and we wear protective gear to
help prevent cross-contamination
  - We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
  - We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
  - We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
The neighborhood is friendly. Neighbors are out walking (with and without their dogs) often and are always happy to say hello. There is a private school across the street, so the street is busy early in the morning and then again between 2:30 - 3:00 in the afternoon. The walk to town is pleasant, with large, stately shade trees and lovely historic homes. We provide a queen size air mattress and bedding for additional guests.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had!

Perfect place for our family to stay while moving in our daughter to Elon. The house is really well kept and would love to return.

This House Is Really Well Kept.

Cathryn is an outstanding host. If you choose to stay anywhere in the Triad area of NC, I would more than highly recommend you stay at this home.

Outstanding Host.

What a wonderful space! The hosts’ hospitality brought comfort to my family during a trying time. We needed a home base and this place was simply perfect. I’m a little type A and the house exceeded my cleanliness expectations. The thoughtful touches and efficient communication put the finishing touches on this professional experience. We look forward to staying again the next time we’re back in town and have a need for accommodations.

This Place Was Simply Perfect!

This bungalow was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The hosts were very communicative and included thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine and handwritten 'welcome' note. The house info notebook is thorough and helpful. If it hadn't rained so much, we would have loved to enjoy the nice front porch! Thanks for a great stay!
