Lakefront Sunset Retreat | 4BR, 3BA, Fast Wi-Fi

Where do I begin? Claudia's place was perfect to unwind, both indoors and outdoors (despite having stayed there in late October). Claudia provided a nice welcome package that was super helpful (both for our plans during the stay and for giving tips that non-locals might overlook). When I first arrived, I was blown away at how well the place was decorated. It was large enough for 9 adults to spread out but was still cozy. Having boardgames, movies, and a pingpong table was great. And every washroom was clean and spacious. Having a rain showerhead option in each was a plus! There weren't any arguments about who slept where because all the rooms were inviting. The best feature was the view from every floor! Waking up to it was *chef's kiss* The outdoor space was fantastic. I loved sitting by the lake and then moving over to the firepit & bonding with my family there. It was a memorable trip for all of us and the bar is set high now. My only regret: not having booked a longer stay!

Family

Claudia & Jason’s place is STUNNING. It is the perfect blend of modern finishes and amenities in a rural, natural setting. Right from the moment we walked in it was comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with anything you might need to cook or have a meal. All the bathrooms were clean and well functioning. We were all impressed with the water pressure in the shower! The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice, too - not the cheap scratchy ones. This place could easily accommodate multiple families staying comfortably. The layout of a bedroom and bathroom available on each floor worked amazingly for our stay. If I could keep this place as a secret for myself to stay at, I would! 10/10, will definitely be trying to book a stay here in the future. Thanks Claudia & Jason for offering your property for stays - it’s truly a gem.

Group Trip

We had a fantastic stay! The location near the charming town of Halliburton was convenient, and the environment was safe and peaceful. The cottage exceeded our expectations, with easy access to the fire pit and lake. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathrooms were spotless, and the rooms were cozy. Plus, there were plenty of board games and a ping pong table for added fun. Thanks a lot to Claudia and Jason!

Fall Colours

Being new to Air BnB I wasn’t sure what to expect but Claudia’s cottage blew us away. The location, views, amenities, spaciousness of the home… so many positives! We stayed during a major freezing rain / snow storm and despite me being worried about power outages, Claudia made sure I knew where all the extra flashlights, etc were and provided advice should we lose power. She really made me feel more at ease being away from home during a bad storm. All worked out and we were able to throughly enjoy our stay. The cottage is EXACTLY as pictured as was perfect for our group of 6. Thanks so much Claudia!! You truly made our experience one to remember :)

Family with kids

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage is spotless, tastefully decorated, and spacious. It is well equipped with everything needed, and we especially appreciated all the games (ping-pong table) available. The deck is perfect and we loved having access to the kayaks, canoe, and pedal boat. The three bathrooms were a huge bonus. The location is ideal, with opportunities to explore small towns and trails, and the beautiful surrounding area. The hosts, Claudia and Jason, have really considered everything to make their guest’s stay perfect.
