A-Frame Cabin

Gorgeous cabin. Perfect spot on the river. Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend adding on dinner and breakfast. Delicious.

This was the perfect way to spend our first night away together as new parents.

The most restorative getaway

We felt so recharged after our two nights in the A-frame. The space was beautiful and simple, with thoughtful touches like games, drawing pads, and a cooler with ice. The views are stunning — we were in awe and kept talking about how beautiful our surroundings were! The highlight was taking a cold plunge in the river and then heating up in the sauna. It rained for one of our days, and the rain sounded absolutely magical on the roof.

We purchased dinner from our host for one night, and Nahanni brought us perfectly cooked salmon, potatoes, asparagus, and citrus fennel salad with a lemon tart for dessert.

We’ve already recommended the cabin to friends and are planning our next stay. It’s so nice to be off the grid, no service, no electricity, but still comfy and cozy with all we needed.

Off grid and happy!!

Truthfully, I had no idea that I would be so off the grid + it was exactly what I needed. Nahanni made such beautiful and nourishing meals. The shared and private space’s are very thoughtful in design, in ethos.. very practical yet utterly inspired.

My senses + spirit are incredibly nourished after my time on this magical land, in the kind care of Nahanni + Benji… and of course, the wonderful family of creatures that serenaded all in the mornings made my heart just melt.

I definitely recommend starting the day with a sauna and the afternoon with a sun kissed swim, enjoying the shaded nooks of the old growth forest.

The whole experience was so transformative. I’m so grateful for this special, sacred place to exist + that it is so generously shared. 🤍🙏🏻🤍

Pure Bliss

This was one of our favorite stays EVER. We felt well taken care of from the start. The cabin is beautiful -- waking up every morning to views of the trees and river was such a delight. It's the perfect mix of camping and comfort. We ordered dinner to be delivered to us on our anniversary, and Nahanni and her daughter kindly brought the most delicious, beautiful meal. HIGHLY recommend ordering a meal while you're here.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The swimming hole is idyllic, the sauna is perfect (also overlooks the river), the outdoor shower is lovely. We're already planning our return.

A magical retreat

We had such a lovely carefree two days at the Burro Burrow Burrough. The A-frame is beautiful - such attention to detail to create a cozy but open space. Nahanni was really nice and made sure we had all that we needed and still had privacy. The spot to swim or sit in the river is gorgeous. It was a perfect way to disconnect from the world and focus on the moment.

Beautiful Getaway
