Fool of a Took! The first of our four hobbit holes is inspired by Pippin, and has all the charm and whimsy you'd expect. The gray, silver and blue tones harken back to Minas Tirith and the nearby sea. A king-sized bed, spacious shower and cozy bathrobe are just a few of the comforts you'll enjoy during your stay. Unlike Aragorn, we know all about second breakfast! We have four unique hobbit holes in our Shire. Walk through the round door and you’re in your very own hobbit hole. You’ll have the sitting room (complete with wood-burning stove), kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom all to yourself. Four windows let in plenty of natural light, and the 11-foot ceilings make the whole place feel open and airy. Every detail is designed to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Aside from your room, you’ll have access to the fire pit and walking trails on our property. In short, our home is the only part of the property not&nbsp;available to guests. I’m around for anything you need, even if it’s just another player for a board game! I’ll carry your luggage to and from your room and deliver second breakfast. Your job is to enjoy yourself! We’re surrounded on three sides by a 1000+ acre cattle ranch, so we have wide open space and very little light pollution. Catch a sunset, and stay out to watch the stars! Burney Falls and Lassen National Forest are an hour away, and other opportunities for outdoor adventures abound. You’ll need a car to reach our rural 40-acre property, but we’re right off Hwy 299 and less than 15 minutes from Interstate 5.

Everything was amazing the moment we drove up onto the property. The property and hobbit homes were beautiful and so thoughtfully made. The host was so friendly and extremely responsive to all texts. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone - both LoTR fans and non.

Perfect Hobbit Home

My husband and I have stayed at the hobbit holes twice and we absolutely love it there. The king size bed is super comfortable with luxury linens which is such a treat when traveling.  The shower is large with wonderful smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We loved having a refrigerator to store our wine and snacks, but the absolute best part was the breakfast!! So much food! A large tray was thoughtfully prepared and brought to our door in the morning. We've stayed at airbnb's and bnb's all over the world and NO ONE has ever done a breakfast like this! The property is a bit out of the way but the solitude means beautiful views and a quiet nights rest. There is also no TV which meant snuggling up with a book or playing a card game is how we spent the evening.
