Camp Garondah an Adirondack Retreat

This is one of the best homes my family and I have ever stayed at. Great location right on the lake, with kayaks and a canoe available. When the weather didn't cooperate we really enjoyed the game room in the basement. Everything was exactly as described on the website, and the house is very well stocked and organized. The host also provided lots of helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the region.

Awesome home in the Adirondacks

We rented Camp Garondah for two weeks. The first week was just my wife and I (60+). The second week other family joined us including 3 teenage nieces and nephews. The house and location were perfect! Everything one could need in the kitchen and rest of the house was there and then some! The beds were very clean, fresh and comfortable! The dock was a hit for all with beautiful views. We could kayak to the right of the dock and go for miles of beautiful scenery. Lots of Loon and Loonlet sightings. What a great bonus! Just a very short paddle left of the dock there is a deep water swimming "circle" with two floating dock/rafts. Great for sunning and cooling off in the water. Extra bonus: The basement game room had a regulation size pool table, ping pong table, foosball and a massive wall mounted TV . Watching the World Cup was like being there! Can't say enough about this place and the helpfullness and responsiveness of the owner Teradon. And just a short trip to all kinds of things to do: Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and the Paul Smith's College Visitor Interprative Center for miles of breath-taking hikes. You won't regret renting Camp Garondah!!!

This Place Is The Bomb!

My wife, 4 kids (ages 6-12) and I had a blast at Camp Garondah. Great house with plenty of space for everyone. Very well appointed and clean. Picturesque location on the lake makes for plenty of fun in the water fishing, swimming and paddling. Teradon was a great host, very informative and helpful, willing to answer any questions we had. We'd definitely recommend.

Slice of Paradise

Great location! The owner is very gracious and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable. The kitchen is beyond awesome! Every cooking gadget you could imagine and more! You won't need to bring anything extra. My friends and I enjoyed paddling, cooking, hiking, and relaxing on the property. I would gladly stay here again!

Perfect getaway

We stayed at Camp Garondah for the kids' February school vacation and had an awesome time! The house was perfect- plenty of room for everyone, a cozy fireplace, and pool, ping pong, and foosball in the basement! The kitchen has every kind of pot, utensil, and dish you could ever need, and the grill outside was great, too!
We went skiing/snowboarding/tubing a few of the days at Mt. Titus (about 40 mins away)-- what a terrific mountain- well-groomed trails, super nice staff, and not too crowded! We also spent a day hanging out in Lake Placid- so cool to ice skate around the Olympic oval! And we loved exploring the stores and ate some yummy ice cream and pickle-flavored popcorn!
