Can't Bear To Leave!

The owners have thought of absolutely everything! This is the cleanest, most well appointed cottage we have ever stayed in. The beds are extremely comfortable with excellent bedding. Great central location, with the main attractions close. Quick trip from the ferry, and beautiful waterfront. Nice spacious yard, with all the toys for our kids.
And on arrival they had yummy deserts in the fridge for us! 10-10, highly recommend this beautiful slice of paradise. 😊💦☀️🌅

Best Cottage we have ever rented!

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! Honestly, other than your personal items, food, and drinks, you really don’t need to bring anything else. The cottage was fully equipped and had so many games and activities to enjoy. We were traveling with a baby, and they even had a crib ready for us, which made everything so much easier. The view was beautiful, the place was spotless, peaceful, and very quiet. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable & beautifully appointed cottage on the shores of Lake Manitou. The space had everything we needed: a well-equipped kitchen, cozy & comfortable beds, a strong hot shower, and the convenience of a washer and dryer. The overall vibe was perfectly "cottagey" & relaxing. The outdoor amenities were also fantastic - we loved spending evenings around the fire pit and unwinding in the sauna during the day. Nights were quiet and dark, allowing for restful, uninterrupted sleeps. During the day, we spent endless hours lounging in Muskoka chairs by the water, taking in the serene views and watching loons swim and dive. Clear, star-filled skies at night were awesome. Scenic country roads were ideal for jogging or walking the dog. We also had over a dozen deer sightings over the week. Shauna and Mike were exceptional hosts - helpful & responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a top-tier, nature-filled retreat. It was worth it.

Wonderful!

Absolutely breathtaking sunrises in a spectacular CLEAN cottage , everything was above and beyond!!! Thanks for a great week!!

Fabulous

I can only echo the other reviews by saying this is an absolute gem of a property. First of all, it is surprisingly private. The yard is large with a horse shoe pit, sauna, fire pit area, dock, and chairs by the shore. The deck overlooking the lake is lovely and in perfect condition. Inside the cottage, you have absolutely everything you need. The cottage is bright and clean and comfortable. It is located quite centrally on the island so it is a great jumping off point for day trips to explore the island. Shauna and Mike were the perfect hosts, being quick to respond to queries in a respectful and friendly manner. If we were to come back, we wouldn’t even try another location, because you can’t improve upon perfection. Thank you, Shauna and Mike, for sharing your amazing property!

Best cottage ever!
