Sweet Necessity

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our extended family at Sweet Necessity. It was everything we had hoped for. We had our adult children, spouses, and grandchildren for a total of 13, plus our dog.

The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this magnificent place. The kitchen table!! It was so large and great for our family meals, crafts and games. The two refrigerators and two dishwashers were perfect with so many people. I appreciated the elevator as I am in a wheelchair part time so I could easily access the pool as we stayed on the third floor. The pool was perfect and the beach was so sparse with people which was just what we were looking for. A large crate was available for our dog, so it was great not to have to pack one!

We had one issue that quickly turned into a non-issue as Carrie took care of the situation immediately. Carrie gave us recommendations for a photographer to commemorate the event, along with so many other suggestions to help our week go smoothly. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to return again.

A perfect celebration!

We had the very best time bringing our whole family together for a week at the beach. Our Family of 7 has grown over the years to a family of 19 (we had 7 children 4 and under) and this house was just perfect for us to gather together for a week of making memories. We were able to meet the children’s change needs with both a beach and a pool. The space at the table allowed all of us to sit down for dinner every night. Carrie had so many lovely amenities right at hand (beach chairs and towels, step stools and booster seats). Carrie was able to give us suggestions for a photographer for a family photo shoot, which is a dream come true for us.. We also thought the photos do not do this house justice as it looks even better in person. We definitely would recommend staying at Sweet Necessity and definitely hope to return again!

First Timers

We have stayed at Sweet Necessity and Good Fortune multiple times and we can't wait to go again! The Cape has become our favorite place to vacation and we love that we can take our entire family - including our dogs! It's hard to find a place that is so accommodating with your furry family members, but Carrie has been wonderful since the first time we stayed at Sweet Necessity and every stay in between. The view is unmatched, the amenities are just what you need. The elevator is extremely convenient. Carrie is a great communicator and is always concerned about our stay and making sure we have everything we need. We have had very few issues throughout the years and any thing that has come up has been addressed by Carrie. Can't recommend her enough as a host!

Our favorite home away from home!

We had an amazing vacation on Cape San Blas. Carrie opened up her beautiful home to my family last week. She is so caring and wonderful to work with. The house is everything the photos show. There is a large stocked kitchen with a table large enough for your entire family. Our grandchildren had a blast at the beach and loved the private pool. The house had beach towels and beach chairs available at the house.

Great place to stay!

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Sweet Necessity. My family loves it there. No issues with the home except for the kitchen sink was hard to turn off from dripping, but that was no big deal.
