Casa Alegre - Private Algarve Villa Rental

Not located in an urbanised area and a little off the beaten track, this villa is so much the better for it. We were looking for a place to unwind away from the stresses of work ( there is reliable wifi although we never used it for work purposes).
The villa is very well equipped and the only thing we could think of that was missing were ice cube trays, no real problem with ice being available from service stations.
Lying by the excellent pool the only real noises are the insects, birds and breeze in the trees. The A22 can be seen in the far distance but rarely heard.
There is some building being done in the locality but it didn't affect our enjoyment of our holiday, builders seeming to spend more days off site than on! Very likely to return.

Let the stresses go!

We (4 adults and a baby of 9 months) spent a wonderful week here in September. The house was perfect for us, well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. Lovely view from the terrass where we spent most evenings.
The big livingroom/diningroom is between the biggest sleepingroom , en suite, and the two other rooms with double beds and shared bathroom - which gives more privacy, i.e. the baby only woke up her parents in the mornings.
We are grateful for Maria who cleaned and washed up 3 days a week, she made life easier.
We enjoyed the pool very much, it was very well maintained. Beautiful house, garden and surroundings, very peaceful. With a car you are within easy reach of many interesting places and lovely beaches. Very good restaurant, O Alambique, a short drive from the house.
The only thing we missed was air condition, as the weather was extremely hot, luckily we had the pool.
We loved staying at Casa Alegre and recommend it to everybody!
