This is our grandmother Linda's real home: a 1970s family house with her vintage furniture and lace doilies, in the quiet countryside, a 10-minute drive from the sea. It is not a new build or a modern renovation: it is authentic, with its charm and a few signs of time. All on the ground floor, with air conditioning in the bedrooms, Wi-Fi, parking and a fenced garden. 2 bedrooms, up to 6 guests, children and pets welcome.
✹ Perfect for you if…
• you want space, quiet and the feel of a real home, like a trip back in time;
• you travel as a family, with children or with your pets (up to two);
• you want a peaceful base for the beaches of Termoli and Campomarino and you travel by car.
✹ Probably not for you if…
• you are looking for new furniture, designer finishes or hotel-style services;
• you need a washing machine: there isn't one in the house;
• you prefer to get around on foot or by public transport.
✹ What to expect
An authentic family home: vintage furniture, lace doilies, period wooden windows and the feel of how it was in Grandma's time. And the comforts that matter: air conditioning in the bedrooms, a fan in the kitchen, independent heating, Wi-Fi, parking, a kitchen with stove and fridge, the basic essentials and power strips to charge your phones and devices easily.
✹ What not to expect
A new build with modern finishes and fittings. There is no washing machine and no air conditioning in the kitchen (there is a fan instead).
✹ The house
All on the ground floor: the only steps are the ones to the garden. 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 3 single beds; a fourth single bed can be added on request, for up to 6 guests. 1 bathroom with shower and bidet, a kitchen and a fully fenced garden, pet-friendly too: one area is already set up for guests, the rest we are still working on. This is the countryside: expect mosquitoes in summer, but the mosquito screens are intact.
✹ Where we are
In the countryside, a 10-minute drive from the sea, close to the beaches of Termoli and Campomarino. The supermarket is a 5-minute drive away, and there are small food shops in town.
✹ Getting around
We recommend coming by car: the train station is about 13 km away, and the sea, the supermarket and the town are easy to reach by car.
