Four bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with private pool in the heart of Cala en Porter, Menorca.

Casa Marcia

Wow what a fantastic time we had in this beautiful villa! The owners have really thought of everything you would need and more and couldn’t have been more helpful. The villa is very close to all amenities and is beautifully decorated, the Wi-Fi was great and the outside area is stunning with a fantastic pool. Looking forward to August 24! Thanks to you both x

Casa Marcia 24/06/23-08/07/23

Visited in early November on a golfing break. really lovely spacious villa, plenty of extras in the accommodation made it feel less a holiday let more a home. very good location easy to find from the airport.
Good location in a small village, supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
Although we didn't use it the pool looked very inviting and the surrounding grounds were neat and tidy. Found a very good beach just a short walk from villa which looked safe and ideal for children, it also had a small play area adjacent.
  Will definitely return.

Base for golfing

Myself and 3 friends arrived at Casa Marcia in early November for a golfing holiday and were immediately impressed with this spacious well appointed villa. Every need has been carefully catered for and is of excellent quality. Being 4 "old cronies"you can imagine that we are used to a certain standard of accommodation and we were not dissappointed!
The restaurants are within walking distance and cater for all types of cuisine (though some close for the season at the end of October), but with supermarkets minutes away and a well equipped kitchen you may prefer eating in! The sandy beach is in a picturesque secluded bay and is also within a few minutes walk from the villa. If you intend to simply "chill out" there is really no need for a car as all facilities are within a leisurely walk. If you are golfers I can highly recommend the golf course on the other side of the island (35 mins by car) but you need to book in advance (best the day before, clubs are available for hire).
I can't think of anything more you'd want in this lovely part of Menorca and all within a short taxi ride from the airport and a taxi/bus ride from the beautiful capital of Mahon!

Superb

Casa Marcia is perfectly situated; just 10 minutes in a taxi from the airport, a 2 minute walk from Cala en Porter town centre and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The villa is detached and secluded with no one overlooking the pool and terrace area. Outside the property there is a table and chairs on the terrace and a number of sun loungers around the generous size pool. The palm tree and bushes offer areas in the shade with there still being a large amount of pool area in the sun – perfect for sun chasers. Around the side of the property are 3 washing lines (pegs supplied), should you need them.

Inside the property offers a large living/dining space, separate kitchen, bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the villa is fully furnished to a high standard and very well equipped, the owners appear to have thought of everything which means it really is a home from home. On arrival, there was water in the fridge, cleaning products (including hoover and mop and bucket) and toilet roll which means it doesn’t matter what time of you day you arrive, you don’t have to rush out immediately to the shops to stock up (albeit, shops are only a short walk away), but instead you can get straight out by the pool.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need, plenty of cutlery, utensils, crockery, glasses, mugs (also in plastic for the poolside), pots, pans…the list is endless. There is a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a cleaning cupboard with everything you would need, you are only asked to replace anything that runs out during your stay. This alone is a bonus as it means you don’t have to do a full shop, just to use 5% of everything you have purchased which is common in most self-catering properties. Tea towels, towels and linen are all provided and a washing machine is also in the bathroom which is always handy. The décor is fresh with a traditional feel to it and the bathrooms and kitchen are all modern and clean.

Overall the property is a fabulous place for couples or families, set within a residential area therefore quiet, yet close to all the restaurants and bars so you won’t need a taxi unless you venture out of the town. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from; catering to everyone’s taste and budget (our particular favourite is Casa Tias Tapas, which offers all homemade dishes and homemade Sangria – which not all restaurants do). But if you want to stay in to eat, the fully equipped kitchen allows you to do this with ease; alternatively the owners have also provided take away menus. In the villa you will also find maps and tourist leaflets, these combined with the very detailed pack the owners provide on arrival means you won’t waste any time researching or finding out info – it’s all there ready for you.

I give this villa 5 stars and totally recommend it, my husband I stayed here in May 15, again in Sept 15 and have already booked our return for Sept 16.

Amazing!

My husband and I & our 2 young boys (aged 5 & 2) rented Casa Marcia in Menorca for our family holiday in August 2015 and we could not be happier with the entire experience! We rarely visit the same holiday destination twice but this will be the exception. The villa and private pool are beautiful, spacious, well maintained and well equipped. The owners provided us with all the supplies & information needed to get our holiday off to a smooth start. The villa is ideally located for restaurants, bars and shops and is only a few minutes walk to a beautiful cove style sandy beach so we didn't need to hire a car. We used the nearby bus service to do a day trip to Mahon which is well worth a visit. Would highly recommend!

Couldn't be happier
