It’s an opportunity to slow down, to deeply connect with nature and with our loved ones. It has become a source of inspiration for our many passions from interior design, photography, to woodworking and home automation. More than anything, it holds our most cherished family moments: game nights, sunset paddles on the lake, cozy evenings by the camp fire under the Milky Way, the thrill of seeing aurora and ice pancakes for the first time, and countless more. To our past guests, Casolena has been the setting for their milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, multi-generational family reunions, a toddler’s first leap into the lake, or simply a much-needed rest. Thank you for sharing your stories with us, it truly makes our day to be part of it! To our future guests, whichever reason you choose to stay, we hope you may find the same sense of connection, inspiration, and lasting memory here. FUN FACTS ● The cottage features 77 glass window and door panels, totaling over 1,000 square feet of clear views. There are windows in five directions (the only direction without one is the ground 😊). ● The home was built on a 2-acre double lot, with vacant lots and trees on both sides, providing exceptional privacy and 250 feet of private shore line to explore. ● The wooden beams are not decorative. They are exposed structural elements, a hallmark of architecture from the 90s that is rarely seen in new builds today.
