Casa Espavel is the hidden gem of Samara. You'll love the the connection to nature, the well-equipped kitchen, lovely patio and comfortable beds. Casa Espavel was built in early 2017. It is designed for living in concert with nature and is perfect for a group of friends or families traveling together. Casa Espavel is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and downtown.
Casa Espavel and 5 other villas share the peaceful grounds, glorious pool, river access, and the property's bird's nest yoga/meditation space. We designed Casa Espavel to live in concert with nature. One side of the house opens to the jungle with four garage doors allowing you to watch the monkeys, birds and butterflies from any room. The house has great natural ventilation and powerful ceiling fans.
Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms. There is a dining table for eight on the patio, a table for four in the kitchen and all the amenities of home in the kitchen, including an induction stove top, large refrigerator and freezer and a dishwasher. On the patio is an additional four-burner gas stove and an oven.

There are comfortable chairs and hammocks for relaxing on the patio and balcony. The powder room is on the ground floor off of the living room. All three bedrooms have newly installed A/C, queen beds with amazing mattresses, comfortable pillows, reading lights, shelves. The first bedroom has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom also with a walk-in shower and double sinks. The third bedroom has a queen bed as well as two fun single loft beds for kids or playful adults. Both bathrooms have ample space for your toiletries. We have powerful ceiling fans throughout the house to keep you cool. There is a washer and dryer on the bedroom level of the house as well as a combination safe for your valuables. All the windows have window screens and security bars.
Villas Espavel is very secure as the property is hidden away down a long driveway. There are 4 parking spots that are available on a first come, first served basis. There is ample street parking outside of our gate if all the parking spots are filled.
You will see our General Manager, Johannah, our cleaning and maintenance team, and our gardener onsite most days in case you have questions as you settle in.

Casa Espavel

Our family of 4 had a great time at Casa Espavel. The staff was terrific, the grounds were well kept, and the house was as advertised. Rope swing was a hit with the kids, the roll up doors with mom and dad. fully functioning kitchen, and NO TV which for us was a huge PLUS. walkable to everything. we'd come back.

wonderful time at CE

We just returned from our time in Samara at Villa Espavel and cannot wait to return. We visited with our adult children as a party of 6 and stayed in the large house. We all loved the accommodations. There is an abundance of private outdoor space for gathering and loved how the whole place could be open to the outdoors with the garage doors open. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking and the little touches around the place make a difference. The staff was always helpful and great to work with. And finally, the location is great. We chose to walk but you could also rent bikes to get around. The beach and town are both close and we felt very safe in the area. Truly loved our stay and hope to return!

Great Stay

We stayed with friends here and loved it! Great location. Staff were amazing. Easy access to food, shopping and the beach. The outdoor living space was fantastic! Would definitely come back!

Guest

We stayed for 11 nights at Casa Espavel and were very comfortable in the home and well cared for by the lovely staff. Had everything we needed and was nice to be able to open to the outdoors and watch monkeys in the trees. Kids enjoyed the upstairs hammocks and watching movies on the projector there. Love the set up with the shared pool as our kids had a great time meeting the neighbors and socializing there. We rented bikes and that was really the best transportation for the area. Check out the little European bakery just around the corner. Short hours, but great bread and treats.

Wonderful place!

We loved Villas Espavel as did our young family. The staff was attentive to everything we needed and very helpful with any questions we had. Lots of things to do on the property and very close proximity to everything our family needed.
