Rio is a short walk from Samara’s beach, restaurants and nightlife. You’ll love Rio because of the second floor balcony, big porch and comfortable beds. Rio and five other villas share the beautiful pool.
The Villas Espavel property is nestled against the jungle and a seasonal river. With the and towering trees, you’ll relish the cool shade.
Rio is good for couples, families and small groups.
Rio sleeps up to six guests on three luxurious beds in two bedrooms. In the kitchen you’ll find a three-burner gas stove and all the kitchen implements you’ll need to prepare delicious meals. There is newly-installed A/C units and powerful ceiling fans to keep you cool. Rio is pool front, with a big porch, custom wood furniture, a dining table and hammocks to sprawl out in.

Villas Espavel is very secure as the property is hidden away down a long driveway. There are four parking spots that are available on a first come, first served basis. There is ample street parking outside of our gate if all the parking spots are filled.
You will see our manager, Johanna, our cleaning and maintenance team, and our gardener onsite most days - in case you have questions as you settle in. We have a washer & dryer available on property if you need one during your stay.

Villa Rio

Our family of 4 stayed at Villa Rio in July and we were so impressed by our place and how well run the villas are. We loved the community vibe with getting to know other families at the pool. The landscaping and communal areas are perfectly maintained and it's situated by a stream with tall trees that are frequented by howler monkeys and a lot of other wildlife. We appreciated having separate beds for our kids who don't enjoy sleeping together and despite no air conditioning we were comfortable with the fans at night (although that could be more challenging during a hotter time of year). Staff were easily reachable and helped us with decision-making about excursions etc.
The location was perfect to bike or walk into town or to the beach. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back

Fabulous stay

Our family of 4 stayed at villa Rio over Christmas. We had such a great time! The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We loved having the shady pool to relax by mid day. The villas are very kid friendly. We would definitely come back here!

Loved our stay at Villa Rio

What an incredible experience at Villas Espavel! It truly became our home for 6nights. The staff and other families staying at the resort were so friendly. Fun to meet at the pool and share stories of the day. Many hours spent by the pool and patio! Splurged and had a massage on the yoga deck- what a great experience- hearing the jungle sounds! Will always remember watching the iguanas, howler monkeys and colorful birds from the swimming pool. Great coffee shop within a 5min walk!

Our family had a wonderful time staying in Villa Rio. The service, cleanliness and abundance of shared item for the pool, etc were all great! The location was perfect and we had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed getting to know other travelers while visiting and look forward to coming back one day!

Best town (Samara) and best accommodations! We have already booked for next November! This small and comfortable little group of villas with wonderful pool and separate deck for exercising, yoga etc. fit our needs perfectly. Beautiful landscaping, quiet and safe. Villas include everything you will need. I cannot say enough about the wonderful attentive staff.
