<p>Gunner is our luxurious, second-floor, one-bedroom apartment, and one of seven bespoke sea-view accommodation options available at The Boat House. Based in the resort town’s North Bay, this apartment is a newly renovated, Grade II listed Georgian building in the heart of a beautiful, vibrant bay with stunning sea views.</p>

<p>Gunner offers luxurious and spacious accommodation with incredible views of the open sea. Enter through the grand entrance hall and feel at home in the chandelier-lit lounge with its high Georgian ceilings.</p>
<p>Gunner is a beautifully designed elegant space that pays homage to the magnificent sea view. A full-scale black and white wall mural of Scarborough Harbour stretches across the back wall, bringing the sea from the window view into the room.</p>
<p>Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities for a home-from-home experience for those who want to cook or simply relax and take in the views with a coffee. The breakfast bar with pop-up sockets offers the perfect place for a little laptop time while taking in the panoramic views. No matter where you are in the lounge-diner, the views are breathtaking - whether seated in the bay window at the marble dining table or on the Chesterfield sofa, bar stool or antique chair.</p>
<p>Gunner's lounge-diner is furnished with marble tables, electric log burners, Chesterfield sofas, and velvet lion knocker chairs. The bedroom has a sumptuous mattress and Hungarian goose down duvets, gorgeous bed linen, fluffy towels and beautifully appointed modern ensuite bathroom with rainfall showers so you can live in high-end luxury during your stay.</p>
<p>We also provide toiletries and laundry materials, a hairdryer, iron and board, washing machine/dryer, as well as WiFi and central heating in lovely cast iron radiators – in fact, everything you need for a comfortable and fulfilling holiday.</p>

Wonderful Place

We found, both Debbie, and partner, Andy, very helpful throughout our stay. They have recently just finished, the renovation , of the building. It was beautiful decorated throughout. The view of the bay from our bay window, was fabulous. Everything you needed, was available in the apartment. We ate in 2 nights of the 3, as the dining table, was placed by the windows. So whilst eating our steaks. we could watch people surfing, as the sun started to ho down. We will definitely go back

What a beautiful apartment with absolutely stunning views over the bay. Debbie and Andy have obviously worked really hard in renovating this building into very luxurious apartments. The design and decor was wonderful and very carefully thought out. We spent a very comfortable few nights in Gunner. Both Debbie and Andy are very friendly and it was so lovely to meet them both. Their recommendations of places to visit was very welcome and we discovered areas of Scarborough that we hadn’t known about at all- despite spending many happy holidays camping in the area when our children were young! I would very happily recommend The Boathouse to anyone - we will definitely be back!

Design and Decor Stunning

Had a lovely stay at the boathouse in the Gunner apartment. The views from the living room are spectacular! Being able to face the sea whilst eating breakfast is definitely a massive plus! Great location to Scarborough and to get to other towns as well and was a great base for myself and husband. The decor is tastefully done, although the lighting fixtures are a little low for those that are taller than average!Debbie is super responsive and provided all the details to check in and recommendations which was a great touch.
