Recently each bedroom has been completely renovated with the attention to detail enough to impress the most discerning guest. Fine linen, towels, toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a smart TV in each room gives it a hotel feel.The grand entrance hall features stunning hand painted walls and original tiling. From here the drawing room, with large windows overlooking the large gardens and crochet lawn is a perfect entertaining space . There is a large dining table and a wonderfully cosy seating area in front of the large fireplace. There is also a large TV, cleverly disguised as a mirror above the fireplace. Popcorn and movie nights are a must! The house is adorned with fine, original art work, much of which have been in the Monson family for hundreds of years. Each space within the home has been tastefully and thoughtfully curated. The kitchen although not large enough to be an ‘eat-in’ kitchen, is well equipped and has all you need, including a large American style fridge / freezer. There is a separate laundry room fully equipped. The property also benefits from a large basement area with pool table, for late night competitors to enjoy! The canal offers paddle-boarding and canoeing and Shakespeare’s home and gardens are close by for historical sightseeing.This is simply the most charming of homes, rich in history and immediately warm and welcoming, perfect for families to join together.*Special occasions will be considered if arranged in advance, such as weddings.** Early check in and late check outs can be arranged

Beautiful Country Manor: Stratford Upon Avon (10)

We had a great stay in Stratford/. Perfect location to the town for a nice walk along the canal.  Kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were. modern.  All the bedrooms were clean and cosy.  Thank you!

Perfect location 

We booked the entire house for a family gathering of 10 spanning 3 generations and joint celebration of two landmark birthdays.
The space was great, having en-suite in each bedroom meant that everyone could ready themselves for dinner without stress, an occasion when we hired a private chef to come in and cook for us - also highly recommended as we really did feel like Lord and Lady of the Manor.
We had plenty of room to all do our own things, and all too soon the weekend was over.
Would do it all again in an instant.

A fabulous stay over too soon

We rented the whole house for a family birthday and were absolutely delighted with our stay. Silvana met us and made us feel welcome and at ease in her beautiful home. The bedrooms were tastefully  decorated  and so spacious . The living space combined beauty and comfort. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare special meals. The whole house was spotlessly clean  and yet felt homely. Silvana was available to answer any queries and we had a perfect stay.

Excellent stay & amazing host

This property is a gem. The bedrooms are beautiful, all individual and well appointed. The open fire is a delight and the basement super for late night games.

Silvana was a wonderful host, ready to go above and beyond. The photos do not do the property justice. Do not hesitate to book!
