Elegant West Kensington 2 Bed Apartment

My beautiful wife and I stayed at the Elegant West Kensington 2 Bed Apartment for nine nights in October and we loved it! I outline some of the reason why below:
1. A very comfortable and roomy apartment. The bed was comfortable. In fact, it's the best I've slept in a bed that's not mine, in a long time.
2. Great kitchen (especially the "grind and brew" coffeepot.
3. Two bathrooms with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
4. Great location. The Earl's Court subway station is a five-minute walk away and from there you can catch the Piccadilly and District lines. I believe Piccadilly to be the most convenient line in London, with the District line being a close #2.
5. Close proximity to a Tetco Super Center (a great grocery store with wines, fresh baked breads, and things that tourists need--like plug-converters. (FYI: both the UK and the EU nations use 220v, but, you need different 110v. converters for the two locations.)
6. Great landlord and rental company. You couldn't ask for better.
Now for the cons:

The street the apartment faces is a major thoroughfare. The apartment has double windows (that is, the original window and a retrofit window), so most traffic noise is stifled. However you will hear a loud motorcycle a few times throughout the day. Likewise, ambulance sirens are heard a couple of times each day. Neither of these bothered us, but I do feel it's worth mentioning.
Bottom line: we greatly enjoyed our 10-day stay in the UK and this apartment was a big part of our enjoyment. I recommend this apartment with no hesitation.

I was extremely lucky finding this Airbnb. Two days before my arrival to London, my previous Airbnb canceled on me. I quickly opened my laptop and rushed to find another last minute Airbnb. That’s how I stumbled upon this one. It was a blessing in disguise. This Airbnb is perfectly located in the middle of Earl’s Court and is down the street from the metro. The flat itself is very beautiful and felt very homey. There were blankets in the living room, extra towels in the cupboard, hot chocolate powder, etc. We arrived to Heathrow airport early in the morning and the host was able to accommodate our early arrival, which I truly appreciated since it allowed us to get on with our day. The host was also very responsive through the Airbnb app. I have nothing but great things to say about this Airbnb and its host!
