Comacina Villa, Comer See

Dear Kim/Alex
Thank you! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our trip to Italy and particularly our stay in your Villa. . Everything advertised about your property is true, cleanliness was top notched and the home well equipped with everything we needed. The views were spectacular especially from the patio! We were a group of 7; 2 couples and 3 single ladies with enough room, bathroom and living space. Having a rental car, we were close to everything and could also walk into Lenno if we wanted. But what really made it extra special was your manager Maria! She was like having our own personal concierge and a lovely touch to making our stay most enjoyable. Once you put us into contact with her, all our questions and eliminate all of the stress. Maria was on it to deliver the help we needed. Maria was very professional, knowledgeable about the area, places to go and when to go, restaurant etc. Maria checked in on us regularly which helped us navigate through Italy. She was willing to book reservations for us at any venue and find out places we can go too that we weren’t aware of. A personal touch, we arrived into Italy Sunday late afternoon too tired from traveling to rush to get groceries because the stores close early on that day. When Maria knew we had E-Biking tour scheduled, she offered to go pick up some small items so we could have a quick breakfast - it included pastries from local bakery! That is extraordinary! I would come back again and highly recommend staying in the villa.

Villa Comacina

Booked this Villa because we had a family wedding in Lenno. Everyone kept saying how perfect it was and how well I had done. We were a party of ten ranging in age from 11 - 64 years old. The lift (elevator) helped with the luggage across 3 floors, the garage was very convenient for the rental car. The ping pong table and jacuzzi were fun for down time after touring around. The kitchen was well appointed. The terrace, garden and views were all exceptional.

We were completely spoiled by our concierge, Debora. She had so much local knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. She booked a fabulous private boat tour to tour around and go to and from Bellagio, as well as helping with cabs and restaurant reservations.

Perfect villa with concierge service

Dear Alex and Kim,

How lucky were we to have found your beautiful villa.

It seems like a lifetime now when we are looking at accommodation near Lenno for our daughter’s wedding last summer.

Somehow, we ended up booking with you as the villa looked perfect for our needs and location.

And you did not disappoint, your villa was more than we could have ever expected. The pictures on booking.com did not do it justice. You have an amazingly equipped property. From the moment you enter the garage all the way to the top floor. Every door that opened we were in Awe of what we found. It was perfect for the amount of people, super clean – amazing kitchen, plenty crockery, beautiful bathrooms with big soft fluffy towels, wonderful beds, outdoor area and the lift was a blessing.

We truly had an amazing time in your perfect villa – we can see how you have built it with love and attention to detail for your guests to have an amazing time.

On a second note, when I asked if you could advise us regarding, the transfers and local transport, boat trips, restaurants, you did not hesitate to immediately put my mind at ease by saying we should not hesitate to ask any questions. And then you introduced us to Deborah. And honestly, she has been absolutely amazing, she went way beyond her duties as a concierge for your villa, she helped me to sort out every little detail regarding the taxi transfers, the restaurant, the boat, the flowers, the cake. Even when about a month ago every was booked and ready for us to arrive the original boat company dropped us and it was super stressful as we knew we needed a boat to get to the venue with 20 people, Maria and Deborah put their heads together, promised whatever happened all will be ok in the end. And when we realised Il plinio was closed on the Wednesday which was the day we had chosen, she managed to get us a table in Albergo Lenno for 20 people. Till the last minute she did everything she could to take our stress away. Also collecting the cake from the bakery and dropping it to the venue. Honestly, nothing was to much trouble. And Deborah kept us constantly up to date so it felt like we were very much taken care off. She truly is one of kind and I hope she will be able to work with you for many years to come.

I also like to mention Maria, who at the drop of a hat got me some chocolates as traditionally for us for any happy occasion you should offer some sweets, I realised this at 8.30 in the morning and by 9.30 Maria was there with the 2 boxes of chocolates and she even picked the Bacci chocolates to keep with the wedding theme.

Finally, I must also mention Mirko, as he was amazing with the transfers and local trips, again nothing was to much trouble and if he could not make it he would ensure that we were taken care off by his friend who does taxi’s. He even suggested better ways to use the transport to save us money, which I felt is very commendable.

I would really recommend him to your future guests as his service was superb too.

As I am writing this I am feeling quite emotional, as I could not have achieved the perfect wedding for our Daughter and now husband without your wonderful villa and your amazing team. I feel I have been very blessed by meeting you all.

Hereby I wish you many bookings for your villa as you do deserve for it to be booked up all season.

Thank you for everything and I am hoping to come again to lake Como one day.

Warmest wishes,

Veerle
