2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. 🏊 Pool Access Lagoon Villa 43 guests have exclusive access to the Lagoon Villas community pool. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your villa community.

Lagoon Villa 43 - Walk to Ocean! Prime Location!

This was a fabulous place that was perfect for families with children. The two bedrooms, both had bathrooms included in the bedroom area. The common area was spacious with comfortable furniture. The condo was only a short walk to the beach and only steps from the pool. The host  was very responsive and great with communication. He was very accommodating and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back.

Great place with excellent host

We had a lovely time at 43 Lagoon Villa and hope to visit it again.  The home was very conveniently located to the beach and condo pool.  The home was very clean and spacious and spaciously set up.  The kitchen was very well stocked as we cooked a lot during our stay and found most of everything we needed.  We had a great time and hope to stay again soon.  We highly recommend this property!

Amazing Place

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations.  The unit was close to the beach, the Wild Dunes pavilion area, tennis courts, and the entrance to the resort.  The rooms were spacious and clean.  The unit is maintained well.  There was a nice-sized pool that went as deep as 8 feet and it was never busy-just about had it all to ourselves.  Communication from the owner was perfect.  The unit was exactly as advertised.  My friends and I were very satisfied.
