DMR Cabin 3 | Two-Level | Max Capacity 5

I was looking for a quiet weekend and I’m so happy to have found this place. The cabin is like a high end hotel, beautiful, cozy bed and all the amenities you could ask for. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Obviously a lot of care and love were put into this resort. I was grateful to be able to bring my dog. I can’t wait to come back, especially when it’s colder and enjoy relaxing by the fire. I highly recommend staying here!

A very special stay

I had an amazing stay - the property is beautiful, Doug understates just how nice these “cabins” are - they are beautifully done

Doug is incredibly hospitable

And for those interested to shooting this must be one of the most impressive ranges anywhere in North America

I highly recommend and will be an enthusiastic return guest

We rented Cabin 1 and Cabin 3. Overall, we had 20 guests including older children, adults, and my disabled mother. The layout is great overall, if you're visiting in the summer. However, in winter conditions, having a separate access to the basement in Cabin 1 was hard for my mom to feel included with the grandkids, as the stairs are steep and covered in snow and ice. We loved that we were able to have our dogs with us and that we had room to play outside and sled down the driveway--- however, the keyword for the driveway is down. Driving up the driveway on compacted snow was fine for us, but the group in the cabins across the way got stuck several times and blocked the road up. Some additional plowing or gritting of the road would have been very helpful.

Inside, the cabins are very nice and have great finishes; if you have a larger group that you're cooking for, the kitchens are quite small. Cabin 1 accommodated an additional folding table for extra seating, which was great. The water pressure in both cabins was quite low. Washing dishes and making sure they were completely washed off was difficult. I'm assuming it's a winter thing as no other reviews talked about this. It took an hour to fill up the bath tub in Cabin 3 our last night there. The beds could also benefit from a mattress topper; I'm a side sleeper and my arm constantly fell asleep because of the hardness of them.

Overall, our stay was good. Just some details that seem related to Winter conditions. Disabled accessibility into the basement of Cabin 1 and the water pressure were the only issues that came up repeatedly. Probably wouldn't stay again in the winter with these issues and the higher nightly rates.

Great for summer groups

Perfect get away. Beautiful Cabin. Very clean. Highly recommend.

My sister, her daughters and I came here a couple weeks ago to escape the heat and ride our horses. The cabin was immaculate and had lovely views of the opposite mountain. We boarded our horses and were able to enjoy the wonderfully maintained trails without worrying about mountain bikers or ATVs! It was wonderful! Doug was an awesome host and made us feel right at home.
