The River Retreat

My husband and I spent our 6 year anniversary here and it was the best! Honestly, one of the best Airbnb's I have ever been to! It was extremely clean, very beautifully decorated, they thought of every detail (a sound machine, a box fan, etc), the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! The kitchen was immaculate! It was full of peace, exactly what you want on a retreat ! Adam and Jennifer let us borrow their amazing kayak to take to KP hole and that added so much value. We kayaked up to the state park and relaxed on the river all day. We couldn't wait to come back to the Airbnb because it was such a beautiful space to spend time! There is so much to do in this area we would love to come back!

It's so pretty! This is a great place to stay. Beautifully decorated and spacious home. We enjoyed fishing in the river from the backyard. We love to kayak and were close to several springs and rivers. Our Host's were quick to respond to our questions and our stay couldn't have been better.

The beauty of the home and surroundings made it so difficult to leave - can't imagine a more lovely or serene view. Especially enjoyed the resident owl across the river and the huge screened patio! Beds and linen were very inviting and comfy. Stumpknockers is a local restaurant and a definite must try. I look forward to returning for a longer visit to this well stocked home. A lovely, serene river view

We loved the quiet location. If you're looking to relax in between adventures on the water, this place is great. The house was clean and close to Dunnellon activities (within a 5-15 minute drive to the State Park and restaurants). Highly recommend. If you decide to use the kayaks provided, just be aware that other river users are not always respectful of the no wake zones, which is not the host's fault. They had some boats and sea-doos booking some serious knots down the river. Otherwise, a tranquil and beautiful stay!

Beautiful home right on the river! Modern and updated, it's also super convenient to get to any of the state parks to utilize the river. We will definitely be staying here again!! Very clean.
