Our cabin has an old fashioned, timeless style with all of the comforts of modern living at your disposal. &nbsp;
We are situated on the Shawnee Wine Trail, with several wineries minutes away.
Our cabin sleeps 4 comfortably, offering a private master bedroom with a queen size bed and large closet, The loft overlooks the great room and kitchen, and features a queen size bed. &nbsp;It's a big hit with the young and young at heart.
The living room features an electric&nbsp;fireplace.&nbsp;
The main floor offers a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances and a dishwasher. &nbsp;If you like grilling, we provide a charcoal grill off the back deck, just bring charcoal. &nbsp;Or enjoy an evening fire in the fire pit.

Woodland Retreat Cabins

Beautiful,  peaceful , relaxing weekend.  This cabin is perfect , all the amenities you would need . Plus a beautiful scentic setting . Hot tub was wonderful,  Cabin was beautiful inside and out . Can't wait to come back when it gets warm weather.  Thank you to the wonderful owners that took the time to answer all my questions.  My husband said the cookies you left was the best his had.

First time staying but definitely not the last! We had a wonderful birthday stay and two nights were not enough!!! Already looking for future dates!!! The location is perfect, the cabin was absolutely beautiful and loved all of the Christmas decor!!!! Great job and we will be sharing your info and our experience with our family and friends!!! 🥰

Birthday Getaway !

We had such a good time on our stay. The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for us. The woods surrounding the cabin were gorgeous and the whole stay felt very calm and quiet, just what we were wanting. Will definitely stay again sometime and hopefully bring our little one.

Our stay was wonderful.   The cabin was clean and homey and comfortable.  The personal touches were so thoughtful.  (happy birthday on the chalkboard and homemade lemon squares waiting for us).  We come to Southern IL often and this was one of the best stays we've had.  The cabin and property were just beautiful. We will definitely return.

Birthday getaway 

We recently stayed here for the weekend.  This is our second stay and both times we really enjoyed the experience.  The cabin was clean and the hot tub was amazing, one of the best we ever experienced.  My wife accidentally left a necklace on the bed side table and Amy was kind enough to mail it back to us.  We are already planning our next stay.  Thanks to the Thorn’s for a great time!
