The Wharfe

We had a lovely few days in Buckden. We did lots of walking and ate a lovely meal at The George, Hubberholme. The apartment provided everything we could need. It was comfortable and well positioned in the Wharf dale valley. We didn't need to use our car once there.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely couple of nights here and it had everything we needed, very clean, all amenities, nice quiet village and friendly pub across the road. We did circular walks from the accommodation each day which were beautiful. We left feeling relaxed albeit shattered from our walks! We would definitely return. Thank you.

Perfect Weekend

We received a warm & friendly welcome from the owner. A super location. Extremely comfortable bed & apartment. Everything we needed was there. Just ashame we had only booked one night! Will certainly return.

Perfect!

I absolutely loved this spot. It was clean, comfortable and had everything and more that one would need. So many thoughtful touches. It's well positioned for superb walks and within "rolling" distance from the pub. Excellent position to explore the surrounding villages too. There is off road parking which is a real benefit. The hosts are delightful, warm friendly and very helpful. And although I didn't have one...a furry friend would have been welcome too. Even had their own treats. I will definately be staying again.

Perfect place to stay

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was perfect. Everything had a high quality; a very good bed and linnen, the kitchen well equipped and a good shower. For us it was very nice that there was the possibility to charge our car. For a good price. The surroundings were beautiful. We made very nice walks with our dog. Grassington and Skipton were lovely places to go to.
