The Blue Heron | Riverfront Escape w/ Kayaks & Wildlife

The home is cozy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for the whole week on the river! We saw 9 manatees!! Perfect location on the water. It was an amazing low key and beautiful location, with lots of restaurant options, & close to beaches. The kids much preferred the spring water though! Thanks and I’ll definitely be back!!

Perfect getaway

We had a great stay! House was nice and clean, with a lot to offer. we will be back!

Lovely home

Was an amazing stay ! Everything you could need for the water is provided. House is in immaculate condition. Newly renovated and remodeled. Will be back !!!

We were lucky enough to be one of the first people to stay at the Weeki River Den and absolutely loved it! It’s right on the main river with super easy access to Hospital Hole and the Gulf. The house is well-stocked and cozy. The area is peaceful and quiet with some awesome little mom and pop restaurants (check out The Silver Dolphin). We will be going back!

Wonderful Stay!

Candice was friendly, helpful, prompt in communicating. The home is all freshly remodeled and clean w nice decor. The home itself is small, but met our needs. We also did laundry; they provided soap for that which was nice. Nice area outdoors to sit and roast marshmallows in the fire pit.( bring your own wood) They provide kayaks and life vests and have a huge lily pad for the kids to play on. We kayaked to hospital hole which if you aren’t familiar with Weeki, is where the manatees love to hang out. The paddle was easy and very close. While in hospital hole my daughter had a wonderful encounter snorkeling with a young manatee coming up to her and staring into her mask. Be sure to visit Crystal River and swim with manatees! Natures discovery was a great tour company.
