Vista D’Oro Ulivo Apt. 1 is a modern 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom lake view paradise with a private terrace and garden situated on the ground floor of a popular residence with a swimming pool. Perfectly suited for 4 adults or families of 6, this stylish and spacious apartment is fully equipped with all the comforts of home and benefits from plenty of natural light. Although situated 5min drive or 20min walk away from Varenna train station we recommend coming by car for your comfort and to be able to fully explore the area.

The Place
The appartement is 82m2, has recently been refurbished and is fully air-conditioned throughout, has private WIFI access, flat screen TV and a fully equipped open plan kitchen.
 A 30m2 private decked terrace offers a stunning panoramic view on Como lake, Varenna, Bellagio and the mountains around. And a rather large, gated private garden with lake view accessible from the rooms and terrace completes the experience. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom offers an added touch of versatility, with a twin set of single joinable beds. There are as well two convertible sofa beds in the living room. Both bedrooms have direct access to a private garden and are very bright and fitted. Both bathrooms are fitted with a shower and a toilet. 
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, an oven and a hob, a microwave, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, a dishwasher, a washing machine and everything needed for an effortless carefree stay is here. 
Providing an exclusive setting from which to savour a glass of wine or a summertime feast with amazing sunsets, the private decked terrace and garden are furnished for relaxed alfresco sitting, with dining furniture, a large gas BBQ and a shady sun canopy to hand. The large flat sunny lawn and decked terrace make it extremely child-friendly, whilst the mature olive trees offer an authentic taste of ‘la Dolce Vita’ within this exclusive modern holiday heaven. 
A delightful, shared swimming pool and a sheltered sunbathing area with lake views further features within the Vista d'Oro residence.
 
Location
The residence is located outside the town centre and is thus very quiet and relaxing. The flat is 20min uphill walk from Varenna train station as well as a frequent car and passenger ferry service. The train is ideal for reaching Milan in 1h, whilst the ferry from Varenna provides a carefree way in which to reach the attractions of Menaggio, Bellagio and Tremezzina in 10, 15 and 20min ferry ride respectively from Varenna. However guests are recommended to come by car due to the residence’s hillside location. Private parking is on hand just in front of the gated garden making it easy for loading/unloading. Taxis are available in the area if you don't have a car.
Other points of interest: - 5min walk from Perledo town center, 20min from Varenna bars and restaurant. - 1h15 drive from Milano center or 1h30 from Milano Malpensa/Linate Airport. - 1h05 train ride from Milano Centrale to Varenna station + 20min walk (steep walk uphill).

Lina, our property manager, will welcome you on arrival. She can also help you with any requests you might have ahead of your stay.   The price includes a professional cleaning of the flat, linen and towels and in person welcome assistance on arrival. We can offer guests grocery deliveries including starter pack or lunch picnics at an additional cost.
The Italian law requires us to get a copy of the booking holder passeport as well as enter the name and date of birth of all guests into the local police web portal. You will be asked to provide these details one week before check-in.
A stay along the eastern shore of Como like offers one of year round possibilities, from the café culture and alfresco dining in some fine restaurants of romantic Varenna to multiple lake view hikes, a visit to Castelo di Vezio (10min car ride & walk), mountain or road cycling, Italian cooking lessons, visit to the botanical gardens of Villa Monastero and Villa Cipressi in Varenna, the adrenaline-fuelled Jungle Raider Park (50min car ride), private boat renting from Varenna; guests of all ages and tastes will find something to explore and enjoy! Guests can also simply relax and soak up the romantic allure of timeless village of Varenna, with its ancient cobbled streets, churches, bustling piazzas and craft shops all calling out to be visited.

Très bonne location!

The view of the Como Lake from the terrace is a dream. Apartment is well equipped. Even a great gas grill was available on the terrace.

Very clean apartment with very nice garden and terrace

The location makes it possible to arrive without a car - though the walk back up takes some strength. Still it is possible, our group had children who also could climb up the hill.The amenities are as listed and a barbeque at the terrace is a nice plus as well, and so is the pool of the property. Laurent had many good recommendations and was very friendly, helpful and responsive. So was the property manager Lina who would also always answer very quickly and help us with anything. The only thing I would point out otherwise is that the living room has a quite loud boiler or some other machine that might affect if someone is sleeping there.But over all - thank you! Would like to stay again!

The place is exactly like the pictures with a view that is absolutely breathtaking

The view is spectacular!! We enjoyed sitting outside under the retractable awning and taking in the view. The gardens are big and very private. The apartment itself is well-appointed with everything you need and nothing you don’t. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. There is a barbecue but we didn’t use it. The pool is refreshing and has a great view of the lake! Perledo/Varenna is a perfect location for exploring Lake Como and hopping on the train to Milan. The only thing is, don’t underestimate the walk up from the lake. It is steep and takes about 25 minutes. We walked it every day back from our excursions, but it was a workout! There is a night bus that runs from 9pm that will take you to within 5 minutes of the apartment. Lina is onsite and extremely responsive and helpful! We would definitely stay here again!
