6BR Retreat near Patoka Lake, Sleeps 14, Fire Pit

After a reconnaissance mission last year in which we stayed at a neighboring cabin, my wife and I chose Copper Cottage at Patoka Lake to host our first family reunion because it was centrally located between NW Indiana and Nashville, TN. Our three kids, their spouses and four grandchildren fit comfortably at Copper Cottage where our Airbnb hosts Dustin & Carolyn thought of and included everything needed for a terrific stay over four nights. Little things like coffee filters, nondairy creamers and sweeteners for both drip & pod coffee makers that perhaps many hosts do not. The deck, deck chairs & tables and a great firepit area was so accommodating that we made fires each night that included the requisite after dinner drinks & Smores. Additionally, the location was central between a mere 15-min trip to French Lick/West Baden and the other side if the lake and the Patoka Lake Marina, a brewery, distillery and winery and some restaurants. Overall, this accommodation made for an excellent family reunion and is highly recommended. And oh, btw.... no need to bring bottled water for coffee or anything else, the water source (whatever it is) is excellent for drinking, etc.

Family Reunion

Everyone in the family was charmed by this place. The kids loved their own Attic and loft area. The giant kitchen table got lots of use. Any condiment, utensil, soaps, coffees, etc they had there already provided. A lot of care goes into this place and it shows. Host was excellent with communication. The only improvements I have is to put mirrors in the bedrooms and more storage space for clothing in the bedrooms.

Splendid time with three generations of family

The Copper Cottage was such a great place for our group celebrating a 40th birthday. We had 5 couples plus a few more visit, and the space held that quantity very comfortably. The kitchen table was the perfect place to hang and play games. The cottage was very clean and spacious with a nice design and functionality. The only thing I'd add is a mirror (full size on each door is ideal) in each bedroom so people can get ready in their own space while sharing the bathrooms. Overall such a great experience!

40th Celebration

What a perfect place! Best rental we've ever used. We had four couples for our Euchre Club getaway and we had the best time. The weather was perfect for us to enjoy the outdoor space, have a fire, and open the garage door. The beds and linens are so comfortable! The furnishings and decor are beautiful. All of the little copper touches are perfect. We had everything we needed. The guys golfed nearby but the girls never left! We didn't need to. The host was so easy to work with and always responded quickly. We will definitely go back as soon as possible!

Euchre getaway!

A beautiful cottage !! The decor and style was beautiful. The beds are so comfortable! Everything you needed was right there.
Communication with the owners was flawless.
We will stay at the copper cottage again.
