********** NEW**********
- New!
Modern stylish kitchen with all facilities.
- New!
The downstairs corridor has been brought to the front of the house (it was at the back), so there's more light & warmth at the front of the house into the kitchen and dining room and a more natural flowing corridor from the front doorway into the Hall then kitchen and then onto the dining room.
- New!
Water mains supply pipe system, and replacement of old metal pipes with new plastic ones so water is as clean as it gets with much higher water pressure than before and the entire water system is generally much more efficient than before, also with brand new boiler and water tank cylinder and pipes, so water is now always hot and heating heats up fast.
- New!
Downstairs bathroom, which means the main upstairs bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom is now essentially 'en-suite' for the sole use of guests.
- New!
Gravel Pathway.
- Newly!
Decorated Master Bedroom and Dining Room with miscellaneous improvements and adjustments, such as making the master bedroom lockable from the inside

The garden patio wall has been rebuilt and re-painted & the patio paving stones have been pressure-washed clean.
- New!
New smoke and CO2 alarms have been fitted as well as a full gas safety inspection, resulting in achieving the CP12 Gas Safety Certification.

********* Available For Hire for Filming Locations **********
Cliffside is available for hire as a filming venue/location! It has already been used as a filming location for the TV program 'Saving Lives At Sea'. Some of the brave volunteers from the local RNLI were interviewed in the dining room about the rescues they have been involved in.
Message me to discuss options and availability. This listing is officially for the Master Bedroom, Bathrooms, Dining room and Kitchen and Garden and Patio area with all listed amenities. BUT you are welcome to access/use the rest of it and also book the second bedroom for an additional fee (just choose 3 or 4 guests when you search/book). I live here, so this is my main residence, and I work from home, so currently I'm generally around and available. The Kitchen and Bathroom are obviously for full use by guests. The dining room table will be laid for breakfast every morning with both muesli and cornflakes on offer, and usually croissants and tea and coffee available too.

Cosy Cottage by the Sea, Master Double Bedroom BIG

Cliffside is the perfect blend of seaside charm with a fantastic host. Dan makes every effort to ensure his guests feel like they're staying with family! His home was our home too. :-)

We love Cliffside

Probably the nicest holiday let we've ever had!! Dan was so very helpful, and he communicated well all through the process. The house is gorgeous! Simply gorgeous. Everything we needed was there. Plus more! And the location was perfect, a short walk from the town along the beach walk.We loved it so much, we're looking at when we can come again!

Probably the nicest holiday let we've ever had!

What can we say! It was exactly as described and the superb reviews matched the property, from the minute we arrived to when we left.
Super clean, super spacious, and Dan was a great host.
Everything you need is there, including the Port! but not much left LOL
Location so close to the beach and a nice walk into Cowes.

Superb

I am delighted to leave an outstanding review for my recent extended stay at Cliffside Cottage in Cowes, Isle of Wight.I was searching for comfortable, high-quality accommodation in Cowes for the month of November and was thrilled to find Cliffside Cottage. From the very beginning, the owner, Dan, was incredibly responsive, professional, and welcoming while I planned my trip from overseas. His clear communication and thoughtful attention to detail made the entire booking and arrival process seamless. The location of Cliffside Cottage is truly unbeatable. Situated just steps from the Solent waterfront and directly across from Mornington Woods, the cottage offers a rare combination of natural beauty, tranquility, and convenience. It is ideally located within walking distance of Cowes town center, shops, cafés, and restaurants, with easy access to public transportation, including a direct bus route to Newport. This makes it an excellent base for exploring Cowes and the wider Isle of Wight without a car.My mornings were a highlight of my stay, beginning with coffee and breakfast in Dan’s beautifully appointed, fully stocked kitchen, followed by peaceful walks along the Solent or through Mornington Woods. My room was quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with in-room coffee and tea, a hair dryer, and a charming view of the front garden with glimpses of the Solent beyond—perfect for an extended stay on the Isle of Wight.Dan is an exceptional host with extensive local knowledge, and his hospitality made the cottage feel like a genuine home away from home. The house itself is rich in history and character, featuring a cozy historic living room with fireplace, a welcoming dining room, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. The interiors are beautifully enhanced by a curated collection of original paintings displayed throughout the home, adding an elegant and artistic layer that makes the space feel both personal and distinctive.During the holidays, Cliffside Cottage served as a wonderful gathering place for friends and family, allowing us the freedom to come and go comfortably. The kitchen is not only visually stunning but highly functional, making it easy to prepare everything from simple meals to a full Thanksgiving dinner, which we enjoyed with nearby Isle of Wight relatives. For a long-term stay, the availability of on-site laundry facilities was extremely convenient and much appreciated. My time in Cowes was made even more memorable by staying at Cliffside Cottage. Dan clearly takes pride in offering exceptional hospitality and runs a truly top-notch guest accommodation in Cowes, Isle of Wight. I would highly recommend Cliffside Cottage to anyone seeking premium accommodation, extended stay lodging, or a charming holiday rental in Cowes. I very much look forward to returning. Thanks, Dan!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay

What a special find, so close to the beach you can hear the waves crash at night. It’s a short stroll to Cowes so the location is just perfect really. The host Dan, offered services which were second to none. Beautiful breakfast table in the mornings and incredibly kind when accommodating our holiday requests from our family group that ranged in age from 8 to 80.Will definitely be returning & would highly recommend.
