Overby Woods cabin - with Hot Tub & Lake MI Views

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Darren’s property. Check in was painless and the property was immaculate. The cabin itself feels authentically Michigan, but has a high end feel as it is appointed with tasteful modern amenities and appliances. Pictures simply do not do the property or the views justice. The peace and seclusion of this place is special. We spent most of our time on the deck taking in the incredible sunsets and views of Good Harbor. We have stayed at many rental properties in Leelanau Co. over the years and this was our favorite by far.

Our favorite by far

Perfect fall getaway for colors and cool air. Our host was responsive and friendly. We had fast, convenient access to eateries, wineries and shopping in Leland, Lake Leelanau and Sutton’s Bay. A definite return visit is being planned! 3 adults and 2 dogs easily fit. We had a view every morning folks pay for! Thanks again for the easy booking, rental, and check in/out process!!

Private hilltop cabin with a spectacular view

Our family of 4 plus our dog had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. The host, Darren was helpful and responded quickly with questions we had prior to our trip. The cabin has been beautifully updated and you can tell so much thought had been put into every detail making it a relaxing and comfortable getaway. We enjoyed the comfy beds, the ease of the cozy gas fireplace, the well stocked kitchen, the huge tv downstairs and the hot tub. But nothing could beat that view. Lake Michigan is visible from just about every room in the house and breathtaking from the porch. We hope to come back!

Lake Michigan from just about every room

We came to Overby Woods for our annual family vacation and to escape the city. Our stay did not disappoint. The cabin is as good or even better than the photos. The view off the back deck is beautiful. The location of the cabin is so convenient to several cute towns, the beach, many hiking and biking trails. Darren the owner was super communicative and the guide he sent ahead of our coming was super helpful and a great resource. We will definitely be back.

The best!

A beautiful house and location. The online pictures of the view are not even close to how beautiful it is in person. It has high end fixings and appliances, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, wonderful and well maintained hot tub. We had three generations staying here and it worked very well. I’ve stayed at a lot of Vrbo’s over the years and I have to say this one had by far the best host communication. The cabin is a quick drive to the beach (dog friendly!) or wonderful restaurants and shops in many towns especially Fishtown and Glen Arbor. Would love to experience all the seasons here.
