Stargazing Cabin • Near Mesa Verde • WiFi • A/C

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin in Dove Creek! The location was peaceful, quiet, and nicely secluded, yet still very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. It made a great base for visiting Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, Mesa Verde, Cortez, and the beautiful Four Corners region. The cabin was very clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including laundry, a grill, and a lovely back porch/deck where we could relax and enjoy some beautiful sunsets. It’s a perfect size for a small family or group of 3–4 people. We really enjoyed the quiet small-town atmosphere and appreciated how thoughtfully the cabin was maintained. A charming and comfortable place to come back to after a full day of exploring. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Colorado and southeastern Utah!

Great base for visiting beautiful Four Corners region

Nelly and Steve were super responsive and considerate of my flight delays. The checkin was easy even though I arrived late. Their cabin is private and quiet but also within walking distance of the restraunts and shops in Dove Creek. It was clean, well stocked and spacious. I had a very comfortable stay while in the area.

Within walking distance to restaurants and shops

We had a Tundra and medium size horse trailer for our llamas which we were delivering to a client in the area. There was a carport large enough for us to back the trailer under it for shade. We also like to keep an eye on them and they were close. The host even offered ideas where to get water for the llamas without me asking. I bring my own water but how nice to know that in advance. Washer and dryer availability helped with a longer stay. Knowing that in advance saves on packing my whole closet. The back porch was surprisingly private for being in town. We were even surprised by the wildlife passing though the property and saw a fox in the distance and 2 mule deer wandering through outside of the fenced yard. Great place.

Large carport to keep our llamas safe and cool

My partner and I loved our visit here! We had everything we needed for a cozy, peaceful stay. The back patio was wonderful in the morning and the stars were incredible at night! Nelly and Steve were so welcoming and supportive of any questions we had. They are top notch hosts whose thoughtfulness can really be felt and seen in the home. This cabin was a great launching point for day trips to Moab, UT and Mesa Verde NP! Dove Creek is a sweet little town that we would be happy to visit again.

Close to Moab and Mesa Verde National Park

We came out to hunt for elk and ended up harvesting a bull. It was a great trip and the cabin had everything we needed.
