HiGHLIGHTS Japanese-inspired bathhouse accessed via timber walkway 5 private acres with farmland and wildlife views Owner-built, thoughtfully designed loft Sleeps 2–6 (ideal for couples) Wood fire, open-plan living, and true country escape Built by its owner before studying architecture, the loft reflects instinctive design thinking in every corner — thoughtful proportions, unique detailing, and a layout that feels natural yet surprising. The Japanese-inspired bathhouse is the centrepiece. Enclosed but opening wide to the farmland beyond, it’s reached via timber duckboards from the loft. The deep soak bath is perfect for early mornings or evenings. The outdoor laundry is on the same walkway, blending convenience with gentle connection to the outdoors. Inside, the open-plan living space features a wood fire, simple kitchen, books, board games, and Sonos speakers. No TV — just time to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the rhythm of country life. Wildlife visits regularly — wombats, kangaroos, koalas, and echidnas — and the stars are spectacular at night. Surrounding farmland adds to the sense of space and calm. Review C/O Airbnb - Lovely stay. Beautiful setting. Had everything we needed. Thank you!☺️

Lovely stay in a beautiful setting

Review C/O Airbnb -Another wonderful stay at Liptrap Loft. The peace & tranquillity is exactly what we needed despite having some horrendous weather. Loved cooking in that kitchen, it looks small but it is mighty in its contents, high quality knives, cookware & crockery. I had also forgotten how comfortable that bed is, just divine.
Our puppy enjoyed her first trip away and bounded around the grounds having a great time.
A special part of our trip was watching the new lambs skipping & playing in the next paddock & watching the newborn swallows take their first flight. This is a truly magical place & the hosts are first class in every way.

Liptrap Loft, new lambs, new swallows and a great repeat stay
