WHITETAIL CROSSING – A NEW EXPERIENCE FOR ALL SEASONS IN THE
NORTHWOODS
Recently renovated, this 2300-sf tastefully furnished cabin is a
four-minute walk to your private pier on the south shore of Lake Content. As
with our adjacent property, Eagles Bluff, we offer everything you need for a great
time in the Wisconsin Northwoods but without a steep price. Whitetail Crossing
greets you through a coat room off the back deck as you continue into a
spacious well-stocked kitchen, dining, bar and Great Room. At the end of the
hall, you’ll find three large bedrooms and a full bath. The large wrap-around elevated
deck provides a conversation area and dining area with a gas grill where your
group can enjoy the outdoor privacy and splendor of tall trees and a small pond
with a trickling waterfall. The lower level boasts a 4th bedroom, a 2nd
full bath and over 500 sf of recreation space with a 6-seat bar, card table, multi-function
game table, beverage refrigerator, and 2nd living room area. Walk or
drive to your private dock which gives you access to 1880 acres of the Big St
Germain Lake chain for great fishing, boating and swimming. Speaking of access
to fun, when you‘ve had enough swimming, watersports, and fishing (if at all
possible!) you will find the Heart of Vilas County 52-mile paved bike trail 300
feet from our driveway. Explore our property or the Awassa Nature Preserve and
Hiking Trail which is only ¾ mile away. Golf? The St Germain Golf Course is
only a 2-minute drive. For you snowmobile enthusiasts, the Bo-Boen trail is
directly accessible from our driveway. At the end of the day, you can enjoy the
private solace of a fire in the furnished firepit area and view a night sky
filled with stars (at times even the northern lights!). Even with all this
privacy, the St Germain community park, playground, and grocery store are only
a mile and a half away! A bait shop and several places where you can rent
boats, paddleboards, bicycles, snowmobiles and other toys are available in
town.
Other exterior and site improvements are in process, so you have
more to look forward to when you return. Also remember that Eagles Bluff, our
large luxury lake home on 20 acres, is right next door and can be jointly
rented with either the 3 or 4-bedroom Whitetail Crossing.
Our booking calendar allows any stay of 2 days or more for all
but July and August where you can choose a full week starting on a Friday. Book
your vacation now at any of our Northwoods paradises!
