The Ferry Cottage is sustainably powered by solar and climate-controlled with an efficient heat pump. Its open floor plan and large windows flood the space with natural light and offer views of Islesboro Island, just three miles offshore.
You’ll have exclusive use of the cottage with private keyless entry via August Smart Lock. The hosts live next door and are happy to offer local tips—or give you plenty of space.
Lincolnville Beach is a working waterfront with daily ferry service and a mix of fishing boats, delivery vehicles, and locals. Most nearby businesses are locally owned and friendly. The cottage is a short walk to Green Tree Coffee & Teas, Dot’s Market, and more.

Ferry Cottage | Eco-Chic Escape, Ocean Views, Steps to Beach

The views were spectacular and a wonderful way to wake up in the morning. The cottage was a lovely stay as we traveled from Acadia down to Portland! We checked in a little late, but Jennifer was super timely in responses and very accommodating. 10/10 would recommend stopping by Green Tree Coffee across the street on your way out. Great coffee and great service!

The Maine experience

Thank you for a beautiful stay! Everything was so clean, and we felt like we had everything we needed. The views were stunning, we enjoyed lots of hiking, and the seafood was absolutely delicious.

We had an amazing stay-cation in our home state! After more than a year, this was such a welcome change. The cabin is gorgeous, and the sunsets were stunning—especially from bed!
Oh, and… we got engaged here! Yippee!!
