Galby Getaway - Mountain Biker's Paradise

We absolutely LOVED Tyler's amazing home. We were in town to celebrate our daughter's graduation from WWU. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, well appointed home to have our family retreat. Everything in the home was clean, new, lovely quality and so tasteful. The house was immaculate and the views so completely serene. We enjoyed all the games outside, also the family loved hiking at Lake Padden and on Galbraith. We will definitely be back to Bellingham and will stay at Tyler's ... 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

10 out of 10!

We stayed at the Galby Getaway with a group of five, and it exceeded every expectation. The location is absolutely unbeatable — you’re literally steps away from the trail network, which made it incredibly easy for us to head out for bike rides, and just enjoy the area without ever needing to drive.
Inside, the house was spotless and clearly well cared for. The attention to detail was impressive — everything from the layout to the decor felt thoughtful and intentional. Each room was cozy, the beds were super comfortable, and there were more than enough amenities for a group of our size. It was the perfect balance between modern comfort and a relaxed, homey vibe.
After rides out on the trails, it was such a treat to come back to a clean, comfortable space that felt like a real retreat. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again — highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, trail-accessible getaway with all the comforts of home.

Exceeded All Expectations

I spent a night and went mountain biking the next morning. The location cannot be beat. The house is beautiful with modern amenities. It's spacious and would be awesome for a group or family. I rolled out of bed and was minutes away from Galbraith. They have a bike wash and everything you need to work on your bike if needed. It really is an awesome house if you're planning to visit Galbraith and just a short drive away from everything Bellingham has to offer. I would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful Perfect Location

What an amazing place you’ve built! The location is perfect, right by the trail gate, so peaceful and calming. Waking up and rolling straight onto the trails felt unreal. The suites were cozy, welcoming, and made the whole Bellingham trip even more special. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend this spot for any rider or outdoor lover.
