Set in the grounds of our own home, The Gate House is completely self contained, with 2 bedrooms a full kitchen, lounge and dining area.The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The bedding is luxury Wallace Cotton and the towels are super fluffy Calvin Klein. There is a second bedroom with a single bed and a trundler bed under. The shower is in the en-suite. There is also a second separate toilet. In the laundry area there is a washing machine.Please browse through the photos as it’s hard to put into words what a fab little spot this is!It’s a new build so immaculate. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything from an Nespresso machine to cake tins! We also have Sky, Neon, and Prime, Netflix etc.We welcome guests’ dogs. (We don’t just welcome them, we absolutely LOVE them) We do have 3 super friendly dogs who may say hello but won’t bother you.The property borders a fabulous dog walk with a stream. Absolutely happy to help with anything that you may need and welcome your dogs popping over to our home. We are fully fenced. Phillips Drive is one of Tauranga’s finest streets. It is tree lined with large properties and gardens. Our property borders a reserve, which where the dog walk is. Super safe  parking is on the property via an electric gate. We will provide you with a remote control. The property is next door to our own home. We take great pride in presenting The Gate House in immaculate  condition.  It’s important to us that you enjoy your stay. In the kitchen you will find coffee pods, Mocconna coffee, Twinings tea, Milo, fresh milk, bread, butter, preserves and of course biscuits. The property was outstanding, clean, quiet, excellent location and fully secure, the owners had done an exceptional job making us feel welcome ensuring that individual needs were met even down to treats and towels for our dogs.
It was also great to learn about Mabel (Golden Retriever) and the awesome work that she does, a fantastic personal touch.There was nothing that we would change about this property, stay, location or facilities.

This little house was so beautiful and comfortable. It is close to town and shopping, and we could get uber eats there! The host had gone to a lot of trouble to make the place nice and we loved it. Highly recommend.Nothing could have been better. Big thumbs up.

Such beautiful accommodation that I would travel to Tauranga just to stay here again. A wonderful host who has thought of everything. And loved that it is somewhere i can bring my dog. Perfect.

Absolutely amazing!!We throughly enjoyed our stay at Gail’s , this little home was stunning, hosts were absolutely amazing and just a quick message away if you need anything! Would highly recommend you stay at this beautiful place!

I could not recommend this property more! Amazing place to stay, so clean and tidy with plenty of room and amenities. Gail was an absolute star when it came to communication not to mention going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The property was so easy to find, had great access and leaving the property was just as simple. All the basics were provided for with some extra goodies as well. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need.Thank you Gail and family for such a wonderful experience - we will definitely be staying again when next in Tauranga.
