Luxury Lakeview Farm Stay Rotorua | Hot Tub, Views & Animal

What can I say? The Hamurana Lakeview Farmhouse was absolutely incredible. Our group consisted of 2 x families of 4. Both with young children between 1 and 3. The farmhouse was the perfect place for our two families to get away for the weekend. The house was the perfect size to accommodate us and the views were amazing.

We were welcomed with milk, yogurt, fresh eggs from the farm, treats and bubbles for the kids - such a lovely touch! The kids loved all the space - inside and out, and loved feeding all the friendly animals. We made good use of the spa too. 

The house is so well equipped, beds comfortable and we felt right at home. We didn’t want to leave! Colleen was an amazing host. Great communication and had everything prepared for our arrival - even had the aircon on before we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again soon. Thanks for an amazing stay ❤️

Our Klan’s stay at the Hamurana Lakeview Farmhouse Luxury Retreat was nothing short of unforgettable. Before we even stepped foot on the property, Colleen and Alex had already taken care of every detail—questions answered, needs anticipated, and the kind of thoughtful hosting that makes you feel like you’re arriving at a friend’s home rather than a rental.And once we arrived? Pure magic. The home was spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly placed for peaceful views that felt straight out of a postcard.The best part? Even the local New Zealand farm animals seemed to be in on the hospitality. Between the curious cows and the laid-back sheep, it felt as if the whole property was welcoming us to the neighborhood. (We’re still convinced one of the cows nodded at us in approval.)Quiet mornings, starry nights, and a home that wrapped us in comfort—this retreat gave the Ritza Klan everything we hoped for and more.If you’re looking for a blend of luxury, warmth, and a touch of rural Kiwi charm, this is the place.

Absolutely Wonderful

Colleen’s place was amazing. The place had hens and sheep and she had even placed some food to feed the livestock. Kids enjoyed it! Coming to the house, it was pristine. All the rooms were in perfect order. Linen were all washed. A massive living room. We all loved the sunset and sunrise from the place. Definitely worth it and highly recommended..
