I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hideaway. It was nicely decorated and the perfect space for my getaway vacation. The house is on the lake and although I went during the holiday season the neighbors were observant of the quiet hours so no loud boats or noise after hours. I will most definitely come back to stay in the future.

The lake house was terrific! It's very spacious, clean, the AC, heat (we needed both in our 5 night stay), refrigerator, stove, etc. all worked fine. Some of the lights only work via the smart tablet which is easy so just fyi. The environment is beautiful and peaceful, calm lake, we sat outside on the deck, saw an adorable fox, we love nature and the trees are turning fall colors now.

We booked the place so we could attend the UGA game on Saturday. Most hotels in Athens are either booked or way too expensive, so I decided to look elsewhere. This place was perfect for what we needed. We were not there to play on the lake, just to sleep and shower. We would stay here again for the same event.

Great host and great place!

This place is a great choice if you want a relaxing trip with some fun on the water. Location is absolutely beautiful, we even saw beavers in the river. There was lots of unique things to do included in the airbnb. There’s definitely enough fun just within the home.
