Avon - Creek Caravan Park Ringstead - Dog Friendly

I have been staying at Ringstead for 70 years and this was the first time in this accommodation. It was extremely well appointed and had the best view in the Bay! I loved the balcony and the peace and tranquility of the site even in August. The whole experience was made easy and reassuring by the communication and by the staff on site. We love Ringstead and always have. This site is a great addition.

Idyllic

This was our first stay and we weren't disappointed. Toby who met us on arrival was a lovely man and a mine of information re local area/food deliveries/pubs etc. The caravan was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen including cleaning products. The location is stunning and the sea nice, calm and shallow. On the wrap around decking there is a bed, sofa, table and 2 chairs and the small garden area has table, chairs and a gas barbecue. If you like a nice quiet site with plenty of countryside to walk in you'll love it. We saw roe deer, pheasants, green woodpecker, slow worm and rabbits. The view from the decking is beautiful and the air is fresh and clean. The beach is pebbly and can be hard to walk on. Can't wait to go back there.

Amazing

We had the best time, 3 adults ( one a senior) and a 4 year old for a 3 night stay.

The location of the van is perfect, straight down the boat ramp onto the beach or you can sit up on the decking area and gaze out to sea.
The van was great, well equipped and the weather was fabulous so we spent most of our time outside.
We took kayaks and there was plenty of room to store them by the van.
As you can’t drive upto your van it makes it very quiet and very safe for my 4 year old grandson to cycle his bike along the pathway round the site when we were walking to the cafe or the play park. Using the trolleys for luggage wasn’t a problem, it was very easy. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
We spent most of our time on the beach. Our 4 year old went to bed each night very happy.
Realistically I think the van would be a little cramped for 6 adults but perfect for 4.
We really hope to book again for next year.

We had the best time

Nice small park which is very clean and tidy. Caravan 30 is virtually on the beach and the balcony has amazing views. The caravan was very clean and tidy and nice touch that basic cleaning products and towels are provided. Unfortunately we could only stay for a couple of days so will hopefully be back to enjoy that view again in future! With such a good view and direct access to beach no need to travel anywhere else.

Stunning Location

What an amazing few days we had. Stunning location and couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Smugglers Inn in Osmington, well worth a visit. We will definitely be back.
