Riverfront Cabin, Large Deck, Hot Tub, Fire Pit

We had such a wonderful stay at Hummingbird Hideaway! The cabin was incredibly cozy, clean, and very well maintained. It was the perfect peaceful getaway! The river is absolutely amazing and such a beautiful place to relax and unwind. We loved the quiet surroundings and the relaxing atmosphere. Everything was just as we hoped, and we would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Breath taking Views!

Melina was very communicative and great to book with. The cabin was right on the water and had everything you could think of including games, water tubes, smore making tools, cookware, etc. There is plenty of room to sleep 6 comfortably. We recommend arriving before dark as the access road is gravel with a steep incline and slim road. An SUV is suggested.

Great location and perfect getaway

The cabin was exactly what we needed. The drive to it is an adventure in itself but when you finally park and see the river and take in the fresh air and the deer walking around you. You can’t help but feel at peace. The hot tub was so refreshing and the view from the top deck while drinking coffee with my wife was amazing to wake up to. Everything you would need in a kitchen to cook is available and ready to use. The washer and dryer are easy to use and so efficient. The beds were super comfortable as well. Overall we had a wonderful time staying at the Hideaway and Melina was so hospitable and responsive throughout our stay. Celebrating the life of our dog at Melina’s place really made us marvel at nature and reset into our week with a renewed spirit.

The Hideaway we needed

We had an amazing time at Melina's property. The cabin fit our needs perfectly (family of 3 + 2 dogs), but the star of the show is definitely the outdoor space. The flowing river and the daily visits from the local deer were the highlights of our vacation. Our daughter went through a 30lb bag of deer corn while we were there! Some would eat right from her hand, and she loved every minute of it. We were also able to enjoy the fire pit (thank you for the s'mores supplies!), hot tub, outdoor games/swings, and river tubes during our stay. Such a great place! We would definitely visit again!
