This garden setting studio apartment has beautiful water views from outside the apartment and has shared access with E31 of a small man made beach. It has a Queen bed, full kitchen with a microwave and coffee maker (filter), Wi-Fi (25Mbps- the opportunity to increase speed is available if the tenant pays for the upgrade) and cable TV. Laundry facilities are available for stays of 7+ nights. Bed linens, bath and beach towels are provided. This property offers two kayaks for the guests use, a one seater and a two seater. The apartment is walking distance to the town of St. George's. There is a bus stop at the top of the driveway. On the left is the stop to Hamilton: buses #10 and 11 approx. every 15 minutes. Cross the road for buses to St. George's. Closest grocery store would be Somer's Supermarket. Other beaches nearby would be Tobacco Bay and Fort St. Catherine's. A pack n play is available for infants under 1 year.

The former capital of Bermuda, the Town of St. George’s will take you back nearly 400 years to 1612. Now a World Heritage Site, the town is the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the English New World. 
Buses run into Hamilton and beyond, and there is a seasonal ferry service into Hamilton as well. As the island is only 22 miles long, even at the sedate pace of 14 to 20 miles an hour, you can explore the entire island comfortably from your taxi, on the mopeds or by public transportation. For golfers, the Mid Ocean Golf Course or the new Tucker’s Point Resort (with some lovely dining options as well) are about 15 minutes away by taxi or bus. Ocean View in Devonshire, as well as many others further west (see website homepage for details) welcome last minute tee time inquiries as well!
Good shopping, restaurants, the waterfront, museums, churches, Segway Tours, beautiful beaches (Tobacco Bay, Achilles Bay, Fort St. Catherine’s Beach etc.) and the pubs and cafes are all located within walking distance. St. George’s has every convenience for the visitor combined with a beautiful harbour setting. There is a shuttle service available in St. George’s, and the main bus service is about a 5 minute walk and will take you to all points on the island. For the independent adventurer, there are several cycle liveries close by for those wanting to rent scooters or pedal bikes. Boat and land tours are available as well.

E42 HARD-A-LEE: Studio Apartment with Beach in St. George's

We enjoyed a wonderful 7-night stay at E42.  The owners were awesome hosts, very kind and accommodating.  The studio apartment was lovely, with an awesome kitchen for preparing meals.  The outside sitting area was lovely, and the dock and beach area were most beautiful!!!  We felt very comfortable and safe in this beautiful location, which was on level terrain (a definite plus) and very close to St. George's and all conveniences.  Thank you again - we'll be back!

Bermuda was wonderful and our stay at E42 was very nice indeed. The homeowners were the best hosts and so very helpful. The property was fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in early June. The location was good, at the end of a long driveway off the main road, far enough so there was no traffic noise. The house is directly on the water, the apartment is at the far end from the water so there is no direct view. But it's only about a 50 foot walk to the dock & beach where we swam a couple of times. I was slightly concerned about airport noise due to the proximity, but it was not all that busy and far enough away to not impact our stay at all. The hosts and their family were very nice and accommodating. Soon after our arrival  we were offered a ride into town (St. Georges) to get our bearings, which was very helpful, although it did turn out to be just a 5+ min walk. The AC did go out one day and we were provided a fan to hold us over until the AC was repaired, which it was by the next day. On our departure day [the home owner] helped us by confirming pickup time with our taxi driver, and presenting us with a Bermuda onion as a memento of our visit.

This was a great spot!  This studio is in a great location, secluded and quiet off the main road, right on the water, yet a short (less than 10 minutes) easy walk to St George's.  Or catch one of the many bus routes that stop conveniently at the end of the driveway (Hamilton is a scenic ~15-20 minute bus ride the opposite direction of St George's-- we bought bus passes to get around for the duration of our stay).  A studio is all the space you'll need for two people as a base of operations to explore the area and see the sights.  The bed was large and very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice with roomy shower.  There was TV and A/C, although we didn't use either.  We appreciated the large, well-equipped kitchen, so we could cook meals if we didn't want to go to a restaurant, it was wonderful to eat outside at the table in the garden!  There was even a small charcoal grill to use, great to cook food we'd picked up at the market in St George's.  Since the property is right on the water, we could swim off the dock into crystal clear water, and there ware kayaks available for use as well.  The hosts were delightful, informative, and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed, plus nice welcoming touches like fresh fruit.  We would happily stay here again on a future trip to Bermuda!
