We are a Montana family who designed and built Shelterwood in 2021 using our outdoor career experience. Living minutes away, we provide 24/7 support, including snow removal and maintenance. Our staff deep cleans and professionally launders all linens between reservations. The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled after every guest.
Montana commercial accommodations are licensed with fire safety inspections.

Beautiful house, so pretty, clean and well thought out. There was everything for the family. The hot tub was really magical with the view of the forest... The terrace was also sublime and pleasant! And the host is great. I would recommend it 1,000 times!

Beautiful

Better than photos, and photos are very good. Beds were great (often a lacking feature in vacation rentals, regardless of price). Great location. Did a mini-hike in the back and came upon some elk couple hundred feet away in a clearing. Kids played outside and by the creek all day one day. Relaxing place. Plenty of space and never felt crowded with two families there. We generally stay at reasonably higher end places and this was probably the best home we’ve been in. Other places have been very nice, but this one genuinely felt like a home. If you have kids that like to play outside, book one more day than you’d want to stay in the area so they can explore and just play in the surrounding area. Highest recommendation!

We had a fantastic stay at Shelterwood's place! The space was exactly as described clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The location was perfect, quiet, private, very close to West Yellowstone. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I would absolutely stay here again.
